all in all we are still lacking…..the lack of investment in key positions is hurting us…..we need a striker who can hold up the ball and bring the midfield into play…..we need a lockpicker in midfield…lots of good players, all similar…..we need Bobo MK2 in defence

Once again the defence was more culpable than the keeper but don’t let that get in the way of your dislike for FF. Or did you miss the 3 ballydancing challenges prior to goal FFS.

Agree about the strikers but is our shaky defence more of a priority? Or our disfunctional midfield? Or our dodgy keeper? Right now, we don’t look good from back to front. Last season, Lennon’s signings looked good and he seemed to have an eye for talent. However, his re-signing of Forster, Wilson at the back and a guy who can’t get a start in front of the two strikers you mentioned suggest that resources haven’t been used to full effect this summer.

Naw hes no!! Kyal thinks above hes above everyone else. He doesnt know the rules abt bringin an injured player back on. If he had kicked the ball across the park Mathews could have came back on. The ball must be at least 10 yards away from the injured player. Good player yes. But not as good as he thinks he is.

painful watching Celtic today – teams are waltzing through our midfield – we are weak in defence and particularly high balls – we are WEAK!
Ledley at left back when we have El Kad available – this weakens our midfield. We are missing brown and commons and badly need 2 powerful players with height in January – until then we need to hang in there!
btw – celtic tv is poor quality – what is goin on at celtic! its amateurish all over!
A frustrating game today as a team there is a lack of confidence no self belief Hooper for me is a passenger and the defence is still panicky. In the end it was good to get the 3 points against a poor Aberdeen side the great run by Paddy was spoiled when he didnt pass it to a player in a better position to tap the ball into the net. We have to look for a big improvement on Wednesday or we could find Hibernian at Easter road a very hard game.H.H.

Aberdeen may well try to play that way against thems, but I very much doubt they will finish with 11 men.
A win is a win but things were tricky at times.
Celtic have something to build on now following the 2 comebacks and a hard fought win.
Another 2 wins over the Hibees and things have started to roll on.
The best thing about today was we didn’t wilt in the second half as we have in every other post Europa game.
Semi final of the league cup with a win on Wednesday and a platform for the rest of the season.

I will tell you guys who are missing Commons something and that is we are unlikely to see him get a long run in the team.He will be sold in January and is very likely to end up back in the Championship like Juarez he has fallen foul of Lennie and that is bad news for any player.We are also very poor up front only Stokes looks like he wants to play and we have seen nothing from Hooper,Bangura or Samaras.I never thought we would miss Broonie but his energy and drive is sadly missing we look a million miles away from a title winning team.H.H.
