Peter lawell. Stands shut. No Hereros for fans to watch

  2. Poor by Celtic so far. Putrid atmosphere from the Sheep. Not a good day so far.

    Jimbo67 supporting Oscar Knox

  3. Much as I’d liked to have kept the clean sheet thing going I think it was taking over our mindset……NOW we can play ffotball

So if Dexter said we were brilliant in first half,he wouldn’t be a Hun monkey?

He would be a liar if he did though!!

Thank you. Apparently Celtic weren’t shit. Dunno which channel the good Celtic performance is on, tho…

  5. The Dons are up for it; some of our ghuys don’t appear to be. Over run in the middle of the park and our passing has been poor. JF’s crosses go where Anthony is not. Biton and Griff needed for Jamsie and Sammi.

    Mon the Hoops!

  6. Inside Paradise

Celtic started brightly as usual but are losing their way in midfield due to a lack of numbers, with Samaras and Forrest wide and easily marked.

Expect NFL to make changes as Brown and Johanssen have too much area to cover, especially with Brown on a yellow.

Still think Celtic will be too strong if the regain the middle of the park.

  7. Lost our way after 1-0, Leigh Griffiths time as we lack pace up front, their CB’S are there for the taking.

Our 2 man midfield getting overrun. Would take Forrest of and in with LG, pull commons back to midfield, above all we must compete.

Our biggest danger is Willie Collum seeing signs already.

    2-1 KTF

  8. corkcelt- SUPPORTING THE DAM 5 on

We are up against it here, not on our game and playing a totally fired up Aberdeen. Griffith likely to come on but our problems are not upfront, we are losing midfield battle. Brooney is having a mare and no Charlie or Ledley, the only obvious guy on the bench is Biton.

  9. I think Brown will come off for Biton allowing Johansen to push higher … Brown on yellow so will be a risk for a red card

  10. Zzzzzonal marking debate again.

We’ve best defensive record in years and first corner goal in over a year.

  11. BIG-CUP-WINNERS on

Aberdeen players, management and support are motivated, they are playing a Scottish cup tie after all.

Several of the Celtic players and our supporters (those that turned up) seem not to realise that we are not matching our opponents.

    Who’s talkin’ to you clampit?

You should be at Anfield with all the squeaky mouse Scouse huns.

  13. A decent cup tie and Aberdeen well up for it.

James has the beating of the left back if he is more direct he can get results.

Ref a key part to play as most tackles are flying in and it only takes one bad one and there is a red coming in this game.

    Commentary obviously biased again.

Invincible in the league, in trouble in the cup?

Give it a rest why don’t you.

Come on Bhoys get intae this mob and send them home.

  14. No Bobby Does It Petta on

In a Celtic shop watching the match. Very busy.

I’d say the vast majority are watchin the Liverpool game, which is on in the corner.

Says it all about the game. Expected more from Aberdeen. Overall standard of football pretty poor from both teams.

Only positive was AT’s exquisite first touch for the goal.

More pace, intensity and crisper passing pleas Celtic.

  15. Bet ye Andy Walker gets it tight from lots when he gives his honest opinion on how shite Celtic were first half.

  16. Ah think..

    We are ,missing Mulgrew..

Nevah thought much of him ,as a Mid Fielder..

    But,, Now???

    Hmmmmmm

Johansen..is a wee bit of a LIGHT WEIGHT..

He is still a Newbie.. But..

He must Bulk up ..in the Gym..

This is Scotland, Son.. No Kansas!

We wull Bring oan Biton.. in the Second Half..

Ah hope Neil, maks his Changes..

    }EARLY..

n Very . Early, In the Second Period.

if we lose a quick Wan.

Things wull go all tae .. Whitevahhhh.. fur us..

    Kojo

    Unhappy.

  17. Snake Plissken on

If Celtic lose this game what will the rest of the season going to look like?

    An unbeaten league season?

    Worthless.

This is our biggest match of the season and yet people didn’t turn out for it and the team is playing with the same level of interest thus far.

A lot to be done here.

  21. Frank Ryan's Whiskey on

On a slightly different matter an old friend of mine is standing as a Sinn Fein candidate in NI local government elections in Belfast; Brónac Ni HAnglin. She is also a massive Tim and regularly attended games when she was Scotland, family commitments permitting. If she is the SF candidate in your ward VOTE Ni Hanglin

  22. corkcelt- SUPPORTING THE DAM 5 on

There is a way of criticising the team. Dexter is the “supporter” I just hate to be standing next to, when things are going badly. He calls the team shit and when another supporter loses his cool with him, its a formal complaint to Paul. Give my head some peace, I’d take 16 Roads anyday before a hundred Dexters.

funny how opinions vary, Brown seems to be one Celt who is up for the match.

    ——-

If “up for the match” means charging around aimlessly, conceding tackles and failing to pass accurately….

  24. Usual couple of wallopers on blog.

    Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz….

  26. Any changes in MF or up front must consider aM’s injury status, SB yellow and Sammi’s lack of games.

    Neil will sort it out

  27. Broonie up for it in crisp bag chasing competition. He needs to cool it a wee bit or he wull be aff, wi’ this crap ref.

  28. 1-1 fair at half time – good start then the midfield getting overrun – the Aberdeen support are not like I remember from the past – negative and offensive , especially re Neil Lennon

    KTF 3-1

  29. Dexter, Broony is our best player today, he is all over the pitch for a very good reason, most of the team are having a day off.

    KTF

  30. That’s the poorest I’ve seen us play for a while.

The three players who can hold their heads up are Van Dick – simply outstanding – Sammi, and Stokes. The others aren’t at the races.

Forrest and Matthews – are either fit? – have been awful, Brown and Johansson aren’t controlling the middle, and Commons has failed to put any stamp on the game.

Sublime assist and first touch for the goal, but change needed or we’ll go out.
