  1. Just watched that Sky report with Paul Hartley. He’s a button for an old mate of mine, Tommy Gorman. if only he had a one percent of his intelligence or honesty he’d be a better man. The whole lot of the MSM inScotland are hurting. It also makes me wonder about the so-called “big” sports writers in the rest of the UK. Not one ever mentions tax-dodging or the stiffing of

Joe, so sorry to hear your news.

I’m sure your lovely wife will make a full recovery .

You are both in my thoughts and prayers

Great post. Van Ds acceleration is up there with the best. I found it laughable that Paul thinks Simo is ahead of him at similar ages. I’ve not seen anything like that from Simo. Virgils only issue up here was,it was too easy for him and he occasionally switched off.

The different trajectory in his and Jason Ds careers tells a story.

Although I do wish both of them well.

Nothing concrete from Celtic as yet, he is heading to Vegas for the convention but not sure about Lisbon

  5. There is no buy out clause in his contract, which is good for us with both Mancs and Liverpool after him,£40-50 mil quoted now

  6. I’ve only ever dreaded the day players left twice. Larssson and VVD. Both genuinely world class.

  7. WC- why do you sell official club merchandise if the club don’t give the CQN photographer access into CP?

Absolutely correct. The SMSM get it in the neck up here for their fawning dissembling and non-reporting.

But there is a wider world, and for it to be ignored there too is puzzling,at best.

No outrage about the use of State funds-tax-to finance a vanity project ironically aimed at the slobbering masses. Nor the near-billion pounds losses accumulated by Murray and paid by a State-owned bank, which then allowed him to cherry pick the few remaining nuggets.

    Aye,I’m puzzled.

maybe they look at the mob they would be dealing with and decide ‘not for me’

in my opinion it is the BBC that is the worst culprit – they if anyone should be standing up for truth and justice – cowards to a man or woman

    Aye. Not worth it,not interested,not a story.

Celtic are working on a press pass for Geo and we have been told it will be sorted early in the New Year.

I have made them aware of my views on this and Green Brigade have done the same.

If it isn’t resolved I will personally be very disappointed.

“Sevco are actually losing the SPL because Celtic’s budget is better utilised”

    Fixed that for you,old bean.

The Celtic VVD ‘sell on fee’ is more than you get for winning the SPL

    That fact alone is breathtaking.

  17. Scottish football undervalues itself, the so called businessmen/women who accepted this pittance from Sky need collective heads looked at,even the new deal which was much vaunted is about £3.5 million more than the last deal over the period of the contract, not annually, I would have gone back to 3pm on a Saturday if that is what clubs wanted and called the bluff of Sky TV, who are only interested in English sport be it the EPL, Rugby or Cricket.

  18. Madhun overruled the Lino when she gave us a corner in the first half. Gamboa crossed and the defender blocked, the ball came back off Gamboa but it looked like he was off the pitch by that time. Madhun was further away but he knew better…

    that’s sad

I hope never ever to be so disillusioned that I feel like that about Celtic :-((

and I trust I never will

    Dena,

    Hopefully it turns out well.

You epitomise all that’s good about Celtic. Hopefully DD will recognise that is worth more than money.

  20. I think Madhun was auditioning for the New Year game at the Crumbledome. He successfully showed his bosses he is quite capable of blatant cheating. Watch this space.

  21. THETIMREAPER on 18TH DECEMBER 2016 3:52 PM

He had a shocker of a game but on that occasion was correct. Gamboa got last touch and the linesman got it wrong.

  22. Winning Captains are 2.37

    “Bertie Auld has signed…”

You raised my hopes and then dashed them with the words that followed

    Cruel.

  23. Fi-Fraz-Fo-Fum wins battle of the ex-Celt goalkeeping legends 1-3.
