I have read some match reports in my time but that by Allan Patullo in Scotland on Sunday takes some beating. Basically, he feels that we were lucky to win and gives credence to the idea that the lunge on Tom Rogic wasn’t a foul. He makes a big play of the sitter they missed at the end but makes no mention of the chances we missed. By the way, Celtic Park had no atmosphere either yesterday. I do wonder if he was there…………….

The misreporting (if thats the right word)) is something we should be used to but
it never ceases to amaze me how blatantly poor the reporting of our matches is
thats why I rarely read newspapers
the dissecting of a game on the way home on the boat, in the pub , club or at home is always more insightful
but invariably throws up the reality that we all see games differently
Sorry to hear that news. Thoughts and prayers with your wife and you.
It’s a given you’ll support her through it but a wee word of advice, through all the support you can muster for her mind take a minute for yourself here and there, stay strong mentally and accept any support you are offered yourself. You’ll need a shoulder to lean on to while you hold yours strong for your wife.

thats sad
I hope never ever to be so disillusioned that I feel like that about Celtic :-((
A pleasure sharing some refreshments prior to and after the game yesterday , with posters from this blog. Putting faces to more names is always good.
I found yesterday’s game somewhat bizarre.
Being so in control , then a tad nervous towards the end , at both ends of the park.
The result should never have been in doubt.
Still can’t remember seeing a Celtic goalkeeper making 2 throw-ins during a match.
Both from way outside the penalty area.
Bizarre , but more than happy with 3 points.
Icing on the cake , was a tasty fixed odds coupon being up.
Happy days. Aff oot to walk the dog. Be nice to each other. HH

First game for a while yesterday enjoyed the game but we do make life difficult for ourselves at times.
What planet does Paul Hartley live on?
Never heard such rubbish in an interview with a manager:
“I felt the players were terrific today. First half we had a lot pressure against us but they never really cut us open. (Apart from Griffiths hitting the post, Rogic firing wildly over the bar, Armstrong screwing one wide etc…) You see their two goals, they’re both from outside the box.”
He also said the foul on Rogic which led to the first of the two goals from outside the box that resulted in him being uable to carry on and a booking for Darren O’Dea wasn’t a fould. What a plank!
What are R Tims on about? I guess we’ll find out tomorrow.

sorry to hear your wife’s news. Hopefully she will be fine.
Just in from the game, (man you Bournesouprecipe can go on a bit), enjoyed from the pitch level pitch of The Battered Bunnet. Excellent company BTW.
While not our greatest ever performance, it was a quite adequate 3 points gained, and save any serious injury to the Aussie maestro TR, a straightforward victory for the team containing more than a few makeweights.
Boaby Madhun inexplicably exposed the depth of his contempt for the rules of the game as applied to a team clad in green and white hoops. Just quite what he hoped to achieve when the miserable Dundee outfit rarely crossed the halfway line, totally baffles me.
If only we were capable of winning three games in a row!
Some “supporters” definitely need to get a grip! One misplaced pass elicits such vitriolic panic amongst some attendants at a match that is utterly incomprehensible.
A Celtic shadow eleven, shorn of at least five first pick regulars, (Broonie, Lustig, Tierney, Sinky and Moussa), completely dominated yesterday’s match. We won comfortably. We are 11 points clear in the league. We have 2 games in hand to go 17 points clear. And when we pump Sevco at the Bigotdome on Hogmanay we will begin the new year of 2017, 20 points clear at the top of the league, with one game a week to a title success, Scottish Cup victory and legendary treble status.
What is not to like?
Right Christmas celebrations to prepare for.

News it seems is breaking that the Celtic board have abandoned any pretence of pursuing res 12. It is of course no surprise. The Celtic board are corrupt and their only interest is lining their own pockets (extra super duper non contractual bonuses anyone?).
Paul67 has been using CQN as a propaganda machine for lawwell and the board for years now. This latest outrage is to be buried under mince pies and Christmas trees.
I refuse to go to Celtic park until this changes. I am not alone. But clearly in a small minority.
It will be interesting to see how Paul spins this. For years a multitude of squirrels have been trotted out. Oh how Paul loved to talk about the Huns. Oh how reluctant he has been to discuss our own boards inactions.
Will he confront the issue or tell us how great the board are and continue to manage your expectations.
The game in Scotland is hopelessly rigged. It’s rigged to suit racists and to,provide them with their superiors complex. Celtic were formed as a result of this racism. Yet the people who run Celtic embrace the racism. For them it’s good for business.
For you? Well we are, accidentally, propping up that racism.

News it seems is breaking that the Celtic board have abandoned any pretence of pursuing res 12.
Once again the main stream media come away with the new buzz word well two actually, “well organised ” ? It’s parking the bus, its negative football, they have an obligation to do that, sport is an entertainment, it’s supposed to get people off they’r seats, it’s supposed to get you talking about individual players in your team, you couldent pick one Dundee (well I couldent” ) player who stood out, not a one, I keep saying a monkey with a pencil and a bit of paper could coach like that, that’s not coaching, that’s keep the score down because the goals against will count in the relegation battle that’s all that is, belts and braces.
We should have been well ahead before half time and coasting, but we weren’t and we go two up, then fifteen minutes to go Dundee show us what we’ve got, and it wasent to bad either, if your a half decent midfielder or forward you’d be saying, why are we lined up to get beat boss? I know I would, good players will only play they’r best when you believe in them, every manager who has came to Celtic park so far this season has had no confidence in his team and left good players riding the pines,.
These managers keep coaching like this? Then we will go through the season unbeaten of that I have no doubt, the new era of manager has no balls, no vision, no long term plan, they have young players who have had natural ability and skill coached out of them, they’r over coached like an Alf Ramsey team of days gone by, when a team like sevco are sitting comfortable in second place as we speak, I’m afraid that sais it all about Scottish football.

The difference between Celtic and Sevco,
We win 15 and draw 1 out of 16 including on ongoing run of 11 in a row….yesterday the players walked off disappointed with their heads down.
Sevco win 3 in a row and they think they are Real Madrid.
