Turkeybhoy.
I’ve been catching up with the blog.
Noticed you mentioning the wine alley. My dad was brought up there in Dava St. I was born in Water Row but left when I was two for Priesthill. My dad would have been much older than you and is long time dead.
I was born and raised in Robert St,just up from the cross.A few of my relatives, all from Govan, also moved up to Priesthill.Govan team rule.

Super performance from Celtic who played DU off the park, and could afford the luxury of both CB’s scoring and playing passy inside the box for the fourth goal.
Calum Murray was never too far out of the game and he ignored Paton and McGowan’s delinquency, even when Anthony Stokes finally cracked in the dying minutes.
Efe Ambrose was again a contender in a faultless display, until he was withdrawn for his own protection by RD, after having received a yellow for an innocuous first challenge before half time.
The new Forrest picked up from the weekend and tormented Utd for ninety minutes, using the inside and outside to place crossballs into the penalty box once again Bitton and Brown bossed the middle of the park, and Celtic could have won the game by much more than the final score.
Stuart Armstrong will slot in for Stokes on Saturday but GMS might be the odd man out, as Celtic show strength in debt that was doubted by so many, in vitally important cup games that have, and will garnish the League flag.

We are physically stronger and faster than all SPFL teams, and to me this is reflected in the way that all other teams are getting free kicks against us,
we are a easy target for the MIB to
continually punish us for being the better team,
These so called officials should be professional enough to understand the difference between a strong player and a
poser,
I’m not complaining, just stating the obvious,
and as RD said,
I want a triple..
Good night, and god bless all the Celtic family. .

Just back, very good performance, dominant from start to finish other then first 10 mins of second half. Denayer, Brown & Forrest the stand outs.
Did I miss something? Simon D doing the aftermatch interview. Where’s Jackie?
At this moment in time, I actually hate Scotland – apart from the Celtic supporters, obviously.

Just shows what someone posted the other night, plenty of tims from Govan.
Jimmynotpaul, I was just talking to Turkeybhoy the other night about Sunny Govan.
I remember I was at the Flamingo 1 Saturday night when I had moved to Pollok
& I got pulled up in the Flam by the GT ( hun version)
I was right in trouble when all of a sudden an ex classmate of mine in the Ants Tommy Mc Dermott pushed his way through them & told them to eff off.
Naebody messed wi him in Govan.
Saved my bacon that night I think.
My bhoy is just back in from the game, Forrest/Bitton his men of the match with Brown not far behind.
Looking forward to Saturday.
Have I missed the goals on sky or do I need to listen to all the cricket p**h first?
