That should give the team some confidence for Wednesday. But the defence will need a lot of protection from the midfielders. Charlie and Izzy are making the odd mistake. A pity Efe can’t play right back in Slovenia. It might mean that Denayer will stay in the team, but that doesn’t seem a big risk after today. Well done, Craig Gordon. There were also signs that players like Stokes and Commons were working harder.

Ok, I’ll start the negativity; That new pitch, how much did it cost? Why did we buy it, we won the league last year. Speaking to someone at Glasgow Airport, seemingly the old pitch turf ended up on Dermot’s estate in Dublin/Majorca / Barbados. Why wasn’t a piece of turf included in the Season Book? I see McCann was over for the day, who paid for it, have a guess us (even though I have not attended Celtic Park since, Third Lanark fiasco, the less said about that the better)

Ronnie’s team delivered on his promises today. Great team performance, attack after attack and never giving the opposition a moment when they had the ball. Less aimless side passing football too.

What caused the outage of Cwltic TV?
Great to see Berget getting a couple of goals…..smashed 1 off the bar…..although he could have taken a leaf out of SJ’s book and picked his spot.

Excellent performance all round today – young loan centre half looks like an excellent addition.
Surprised to see a number of people had problems with Celtic TV today – I saw the whole game no problem. Only minor issue was that the comments weren’t working after half time.

Only downside , injury to James. The lad is brilliant but looks like he is jinxed by injuries. Hope to God he is not out too long, but it must be heartbreaking for him.

Apricale – I’ve been on Celtic TV since it started and to be fair to them, the service has been excellent. Today was the first game for quite some time that they had service issues. I was told that it was a data centre problem, and that is something they have no control over. It was a big disappointment today but I’m sure they will get it figured out.
Watched the 2nd half on a wiziwig sky feed. Had to mute it because the audio/video was out of sync, but maybe that was a bonus.
