Could not get the game,so no comments on it.The points total though,in this league,is at the moment,unacceptable.Vast improvement needed on the points side.one point from 6 to Motherwell,and Hamilton is not acceptable.

Congratulations to the Accies other than that what can you say I am doing my best to support Rony but It is hard there is no improvement that I can see having only two midfielders in Centre midfield is costing us and the Centre backs are not as good as they think they are.The team lacks any cohesion they are like headless chickens Rony seems like a lost wee Bhoy standing on the side line I think we may well find ourselves pushed to win the SPL this season. H.H.

Sadly RD will revert to being a Consultant – he will say the players are not fit enough – they did not perform – they need to work harder – it is not acceptable etc etc

We missed easy goal-scoring opportunities. If Guidetti had scored from an easy chance in the first half it would have been a different story. Not to mention the egregious Anto Stokes.
The manager can’ t put these chances away.

Stokes and Commons are both very good players given the right managerial tactics.
Last season, we played 4-3-1-2. Stokes played up front, scoring 21, and providing 21 assists.
Commons played predominantly in the hole, scoring 32, and assisting 18.
But, hey, we got thrashed by Barca so it’s eachy peachy with Lenny and Deila.
The writing is on the wall, the question is who is reading?

I don’ t care if they combined brilliantly to score against Zagreb – Stokes and Commons are a liability. We lose possession nearly every time KC gets the ball, Stokes misses sitters and makes poor decisions continually.
That’s a big problem for Ronny. He needs our support.

I agree but for this- If he can’t see the problems with the team by now and fix it within the extensive squad we have so that we beat teams in this league with a fraction of our budget and who , until today , haven’t won at CP for over half a century then he will , deservedly, lose our support very quickly

I have to say that RD is just an academy coach. At his Norwegian club he knew the setup inside out. He did brilliantly because of that. He is now at a big club, and is at the point where WGS was, but after 3/4 months and not 3/4 years. WGS had won three in a row by then. This guy can’t win three games in a row. The similarities are still there. It took 4 years before players downed tools with WGS. It has taken 4 months with Ronnie. The players don’t have that pride that made them beat teams like Barcalona. The jerseys are shrinking. Graig Gordon, VVD, Denayer, Scott Brown, Guidetti, look Celtic class. The rest need to realise just what Celtic means to supporters all over the world
We’ll need to see what this board is made of sometime soon.

We will not win the league if this stuff continues. We will win the Laughing Stock Cup and don’t forget, the undeid may be back next season. With current performance, I woudln’t back us against even them. That’s how dreadful we are.

Typical post-european game performance today. Didn’t get the breaks and then looked very leggy for the last twenty to thirty minutes. Stokes should have equalised in the last few minutes.
We had a few passengers today. Brown and Commons were uncharacteristically off the pace. Brown is usually our engine but he was barely in it. Commons played too far forward and his touch let him down under pressure.
The real problem for me was a complete lack of any creativity on the right side. For all of the first half and most of the second Stokes and Izzy were the only ones making things happen. Wakaso was dreadful and Efe only made any real forward progress in the last 15 minutes. By God we need Matthews and/or Lustig back.
Before we go carrying the torches and pitch forks for the manager perhaps we should remember how bad our record was after Champions League matches two seasons ago.
Great performance from Hamilton, especially after they scored. What a week they have had. RD puts out the first Celtic team since 1938 to lose at home to them.
I have been saying for a while now that we are not showing any signs of improvement under RD. We have won 4 games from 8 in the SPL. Does everyone still think we are going to walk this league?
We are being caught by all the lesser teams in the league because the board felt they just needed to do enough to stay ahead of the rest without Rangers around. They also felt that we would be strong enough to hold our own in the CL qualifiers and muscle our way into the group stages on the back of our home support.
What they failed to realise is that almost every other team in Europe is improving week on week. Rather than maintain our position we are going backwards, losing to what were lesser teams in the SPL, teams from lesser leagues in the CL and now struggling with the quality of team in the EL group phase.
We are back to John Barnes days I’m afraid.
