Kevjungle you are right we gave fixated on tge demise of the deid team and taking our eye off celtic and the downsizing that is occuring. We look clueless was at zagreb game and to have us clapping and cheering when we got a throw in or cleared a dangerous ball in shows me how farcwe have fallen in accepting mediocrity. We have been poor since pre-season so I do’n’t think many of us are guilty of knee-jerk reactions this afternoon. Our squad is massively underperforming and each week that passes makes it clearer that RD cannot get them to play like a team. Appointment was a calculated gamble that is not working.

Maybe not, however he is the manager and has to manage and motivate the players. If he doesn’t see him as better than a central defender posing as a striker I have reservations about his judgement. What will it do the players confidence?
Anyway the guys got a decent record of scoring goals and had to be a better option than Stokes

Apart from the odd game here and there the players have been under performing for years, sack RD and employ a 3rd manager and the players still under perform then what?
hesitancy and uncertainty seem to be an issue.
Stokes and Commons both have skill but are prone to poor form bouts and lack of mobility.
Stokes sometimes forgets it’s a team sport.
Our central mids carry no creative threat and have little forward movement.
Our sole tactic is go wide and cross and hope.
Defensively we have ball watching and spacing issues.
Also we are often caught on the counter through the middle with the huge gap between centre mids and defense creating problems as our centre backs are having tot step up to cover leaving gaps behind.
Our passive and reactive style may be down to uncertainty of players within system or trying to fit square pegs in round holes?
No improvement forthcoming and worrying times for our club.

Inept performance today, some important players off form and some tactical errors as well. Efe is not a right back, playing wingers on the opposite side means they always need to pull back to cross, so no early ball in. Stokes is a poor finisher, Commons is off form and needs subbed when this is obvious and don’t take off your most dangerous forward. Saying that I was surprised by the growing vocal protest against our current manager
Is Commons going through his good season/bad season cycle, today he was utterly inept, looked unfit and uninterested, I will give him the benefit of the doubt and say he is taking time to adjust to the Deila regime but any more shifts like this and he should be on the bench, at best. Johansen looked very lucky to have escaped a 2nd yellow near the end, from my seat it looked a foul.
Fair play to Hamilton, deserved to win, passed the ball well and top of the league on merit with such meagre resources.
We are in for a hard title race, if you are not up for the scrap then flounce off now.

I Was At the last 2 Celtic games and in between I was at a junior football match…
Without a lie, the junior match was more honest,more like football and all round better fun AND my kids go to run on the pitch at half time!
