No doubt Ronny is lucky he has no credible challenger for league or he’d be in big trouble at this stage.

Despite the doom and gloom we will comfortably win the league. Europa win was the more important but league form must improve radically.

    ——–

What actual evidence exists to support the idea that we will win the league comfortably. Or win it uncomfortably?

  2. Burnley78 no I didn’t go. It’s my wedding anniversary today. But you know what I didn’t want to go anyway. We are being force fed nonsense. I can’t be bothered with supporting and propping up lawwell and co……

I couldn’t get anyone to take my season book. Absolutely no one was even slightly interested.

Celtic have lost and are losing vast swathes of their support through their arrogance and frankly stupidity.

Still I got my glastonbury tickets this morning. So at least there is always the music.

Celtic need to figure out who they are. They have lost their way completely because all they are doing is waiting for the hun.

  3. Just out from the game.

No way is RD to blame for this defeat.

Fairly and squarely rests with our inability to take glorious chances.

Guidetti , Stokes and Commons all culpable .

No doubt RD will get the blame .

No his fault the players are gash

  4. There’s no platform to build from in the middle of the park, the move today was to bring Kayal on and free up either him or Johansen or Brown from having to cover the whole midfield, Kayal must sit there wondering WTF have I done..

Yer systems no working Ronny, nae midfield equals poor results and performances all over the park, you could drive a bus through our midfield and if we’re playing two wide men can you tell me please why all the crossing in the 90mins is left to Izzy??

  5. jude2005 is Neil Lennon \o/ on

Can emdae convince me why Stokes is still at Celtic? Ul need a nice malt to start with btw!!

  6. Manager? How about Tony Pulis? He makes the best of what he’s given. Stevie Clarke? Knows his stuff inside out. Of the two Pulis is the best motivator. Clarke would probably edge the tactics end. Either way, both would leave RD in the quare place.

  7. Neil Canamalar

You make a good point. Not many managers would as evidenced by our beloved martins hasty exit. Most can see an easier ride on the gravy train than being offered what was at best a 50. 50 chance of failure in year 1 at CP. Now post rangers it is a unwinnable position as only CL qualification and a treble is viewed as remotely like success by most. As evidence from negativity around NL and club last year.

Absolutely! There is no evidence to suggest we will. That is the unfortunate truth.

  9. Popped in.

    Neganon2 on.

    We must have lost.

Abandon all hope brigade calling for Paul Guardiola Hartley.

We ll lose the league ?

All that’s missing is we deserve better…

    Popping out again.

  10. The Stokes thing is crazy, he couldn’t get in the team at the start of the season then something happened and no matter how pish he plays is can’t do anything to get subbed. I’m hoping come January he’s for the off, the guy misses so many simple chances.

Doesn’t matter who the manager is, Stokes won’t score.

  11. Jude I know. I think we all know Ronny needs to go. It’s a shame for him but to be honest he is talking mince all the time now. No one is falling for it. I listened to some of the radio yesterday. It’s just embarresing for us.

He’s a man out of his depth and drowning and he is dragging us down with him.

  12. We should have used these 3 years to be streets ahead of dinamo govan or whatever the manky mob are called now. Total mismanagement – we are as poor as them. Will be close next year

  13. Kev jungle

I think you are living in a wee fantasy world.

This is a celtic supporters site daftie.

Maybe David Murray can give you the answer.

  14. the long wait is over on

    Gerrybhoy

‘We will not win the league if this stuff continues. We will win the Laughing Stock Cup and don’t forget, the undeid may be back next season. With current performance, I woudln’t back us against even them. That’s how dreadful we are.’

    —–

I don’t buy and have never bought into the Generation of Domination nonsense. Whenever thems , the undeid, Sevco , call them what you want , get to the top league , as they surely will soon enough , they will have full maniacal crowds every week , full TV support for every away game and every honest mistake you can think of and a few you or I can’t.

And , worse still, a sense of entitlement and destiny that however much we might despise it will fire them.

We’d have a challenge on our hands no matter what. It gives me no pleasure to say all that but it’s the truth, IMHO.

    HH

  15. Kayal off at half-time, 4-2-4 for second half in a game we didn’t need to win.

I said it back then v Maribor and I wondered at my own alacrity of judgement. But now I’m sure I was tragically accurate in hindsight. RD doesn’t really know what he’s doing.

Ronny needs to take his hypothetical football philosophy and sling it in favour of a man grounded in the reality of tactical, physical, guileful football.

If we want to ‘runaroundnow!’ a lot I suggest PL invests in a ouija board and summons Mike Reid.

If we want to form a consistent, solid, dynamic Celtic side who can dominate games domestically and compete at CL level we need someone at the helm who has a track record and proven methodology which suits the club.

Like many players in recent times, Ronny is a project that’s not working.

  16. Raymac – Would take Pulis if he would bring Ledley back. We miss him desperately in left midfield. We also miss Hooper, Wanyama, Ki, Strachan and Lennon.

  17. Joe Filippis Haircut on

Im not angry I am just sad this present Celtic team are only a shadow of past Celtic sides to be beaten at home by Hamilton Accies is not acceptable.I dont think sacking Rony is the answer but he needs to show that he know what he is doing as currently Celtic are going backwords Rony Talks a good game but at the moment he is not walking the walk.H.H.

  18. Burnley78. If we were remotely improving and playing well most supporters would be happy.

Remember all of Ronnys guff about attack attack attack.

Hilarious when you look at reality isn’t it?

  19. Moonbeams @ 15.09

You are just confirming that we can do nothing except moan and wait for the next AGM, or boycott. I’d rather support. We all feel the pain. The manager is not to blame for the chances we missed today.

  20. timbhoy in spain on

Gettin a bit fed up listening to people on here still saying

we’ll win the league no problem.

Get real guys ffs,we’re SIXTH in the SPL & getting worse not better.

How anyone thinks the league at this stage is a foregone is totally

    beyond me.

  21. I keep banging out the same mantra. We must play 3 midfielders.Brown,Biton,Mulgrew, when fit.Charley and Broony play well together. We are being overrun in the middle, which leaves the 2 wide men doing nothing.

Unless he changes it,we will continue with these results.Just dont know what he is watching.

  22. Wenger and Mourinho in pushing match on touch line

News of a Chelsea player being given emergency treatment by EMS.

    Off to church

  23. The No.13 Shorts on

Old guard conspire to get Manager sack for demanding professionalism from professionals on 5-figure wages per week. I hope big PL sticks with Ronny, through thick (Commons), and thin (Stokes).

If you seen the game then you’d know it was attack attack attack, it’s wasn’t good attacking but there were more than enough chances to win the game. At the same time we let Hamilton have plenty on the break.

  25. Neganon

    Well done re Glastonbury.

    You are organised.

It’s tough re celtic. Victims of an imperfect market. Sadly that puts a glass ceiling in our way re progress. I share the frustration. No easy solution.

I am just glad I am going to watch jets v broncos next weekend then maple leafs and red wings at hockey the week after. Sadly again both sports are in imperfect but working markets. Just like the EPL and European football. We are not at the table annoyingly.

Chelsea keeper apparently has blood coming from his ear after clash.

Cahill should’ve been sent off first half for a shocking challenge.
