    I’d take McGovern as a back-up keeper. Score could be 12 without him. Also, as a previous poster pointed out, Guidetti is ponderous. I think ponderous suits him to a tee. Some of the football has been lovely to watch. The best thing is, it will get better. This is from one who could not understand Ronnie’s take on the game and his tactics. If we get a good CH in when VVD heads off to pastures new, and Denayer stays for another year I would be a happy man.

    Someone commented yesterday on how we’d only scored one more than DU and the same as Aberdeen. Well, for the record, our GD is the same as those two put together.

     

     

    Don’t forget, football is about defence as well as attack. And our defence is significantly better than an Aberdeen back four that has kept 11 clean sheets in 13 SPL games.

    That was as comprehensive performance as anyone could have hoped for throughout the 90 mins. Yes it was frustrating waiting for the opener but that is the nature of Football. We now are really looking like a serious outfit. Brown was magnificent today, the best player in Scotland by a mile, we are so lucky to have him.
