STUART Armstrong will make his first Celtic start in a month today against Hamilton Accies as the Hoops aim to extend their domestic unbeaten run to 32 games. The midfielder returned from a four-week spell on the treatment table in last week’s 2-0 win over Motherwell, coming on as a substitute at the start of the second-half.
His inclusion in the starting XI is one of three changes to the team that beat the Steelmen seven days ago, with Cristian Gamboa and Erik Sviatchenko also restored to the side. Mikael Lustig, Jozo Simunovic and Liam Henderson drop out.
Henderson is named among the substitutes alongside Leigh Griffiths, who also returns to the matchday squad after a month’s absence with injury.
Brendan Rodgers’ side currently lead second-placed Aberdeen by 24 points at the top of the table and they will be seeking to notch up their 21st consecutive league victory this afternoon as they close in on a sixth successive championship.
Kick-off in Paradise is 3pm, and all the pre-game build-up and live in-game updates will be available on the club’s official Twitter account: @celticfc
You can read about Stuart Armstrong’s thoughts on being back in action with the Bhoys in today’s matchday programme, which also includes interviews with Wim Jansen and young Celtic keeper Conor Hazard.
Subs: De Vries, Toure, Izaguirre, Griffiths, Mackay-Steven, McGregor, Henderson

Lovely post from Floatin on last thread. Lovely sentiments & very well written, take a bow sir.
Very strong team picked today, when you look at the bench & think of bhoys like Lustig, Rogic, Ebouie & Simunovic not in the squad and have a look at the 10 players we have loaned out including, Ajer, Christie & O’Connell and don’t get me started on our young prospects like Aitchison, Nesbitt, Ralston etc..
P.S. I left out Paddy Roberts as he isn’t ours long term well not yet anyway.
Lurking Huns read them & weep.

Can’t complain about those rotations. Like to see Griff getting some gametime at some stage, I think he will play today.

Thanks to all who have posted kind comments after my Uncle Billy post earlier.
He was indeed a lovely man and one of the few people I have ‘taken to’ in my life.
I express my abhorrence of the Huns ‘ideology’ and behaviour on a regular basis but in my head I always say ….
Except Billy :)
