Intrigued to see Pedro’s ‘best squad ever’ but 1-1 at HT after early goal from shambolic Well defending. Took Mothers 15 minutes to get their act together.
Could have had a couple – Moult missing with a side foot volley from a few yards being the worst chance spurned. Best Sevco player ? – Windass (yes!). Hit wood work twice after good work.
But Sevco defence is ‘porous’ to say the least. Well deserved their equaliser – poor defending from a cross ball – Alves nowhere to be seen – and not for the first time.
So no real improvement from this version of Sevco then – roll on September 23rd !
