  1. macjay1,

Brendan is Perfect for the Long Term Celtic project.

Deeelighted to see Ryan starting to cement his place in the Team. Another mid 20s Scotsman.

Brendan is Wanted Big Time by the Celtic Support – no need to Leave.

    The Unique Huddle showed that.

Brendan showed he really is in the top bracket of Coaches with the way his players have Worked hard to good form.

Magical Manager – Absolutely Magical Man Manager.

I’ve got almost-released music coming to you MacJay byrraway..

The fabulous Glaswegian Spanish guitarist Pablo Lafluente and his whistle blowing mate.

  5. Watching yesterdays game,I have a feeling that we now have on our hands ,a player who could surpass anything we thought a,bout him previous,ly.Calum Mc Gregor. This boy has emerged. in the last couple of seasons,as a mainstay in the team.He now seems to be going beyond that.He is now looking, to me anyway,as being close to the complete midfielder. He could be the new rock Brendan builds his team around.

Brendans patience with Ryan Christie also looks very much as if it will pay off in a big way.Full of endevour, skill, could also be a star for us.

The horrendous injuries we have had, have brought out a couple of diamonds for the foreseeable future.Every cloud,as they say.

  6. Since our loss to Kilmarnock on 23rd September we have won 7 domestic games scoring 25 goals and letting in 2 against Hibs. Hh

  7. Good morning CQN from a damp, chilly but happy Garngad

That was easy yeterday and the bhoys were greeeeaaat, only downside I had 5-1 ?

  8. morning bhoys from an overcast but not cold Cheshire. agree with turkeybhoy, calmac and ryan are superstars in the making, now going to have a fry up, got black pudding, eggs fried bread. but no skwerr sausages. never mind just have to make do this English pork crap.hh.

  9. Big Packy, Good morning. Was talking to my cousin a few ago in the pub and I said good quality square sausages are the best. He said English pork links are the best! Not sure if he was saying it to wind me up. He has history for that.

  10. good morning jimthetim53. hope you are well, tell your cousin, id gladly swap my English pork links for skwerr saugages, anyday of the week, oh how we miss em jim down here.hh.

  11. I’m surprised our square sausages have never taken off in England. For example our beef and Scotch Lamb are so highly regarded. If I was a butcher I would try marketing them as ‘Scottish Square’

  12. yes jim you can get them online, sent from a butcher in Aberdeen area. but ive tried down here in Cheshire with no success. in fact you cant even get beef sausages down here.hh.

  13. Hoop hoop Hooray on

I havent seen any of yesterdays game but have seen all of the previous four. Biggest difference is having calmac in that deep lying role. He takes the ball snd moves it forward quickly. This means the front four are always alert and moving which disorientates defences and is exactly what we were saying we should do earlier in the season. Contrast that with the side to side painfully slow build up earlier in season , our front four falling askeep with boredom and ten defenders in position. We have gone from averaging a goal a game with broonie to 4 or 5 a game with calmac in same role

  14. We don’t sing a song for Tom Rogic.

    He deserves one.

    Let me start one.

Yo Ho Ho it’s Rogic, you know.

Tam is here for 10 in a row.

It’s Rogic you know ,Tam is here for 10 in a row……..

Good morning all from the Benidorm purple haze. Another night on the beer with Celtic fans from all over the world. I’m being led astray. ?

  16. I would love to be a fly on the wall if Broonie and wee Leigh were in a room together watching the recent games without them in it!

There’s one very serious recent historical demonstration of anti Catholicism that is being forgotten in the Neil Lennon debacle.

Rangers refused to sign a Roman Catholic until 1989.

How many of their employees since then have been Irish Catholic’s or Catholic’s of Irish decent?

How many of their Catholic players have been told not to bless themselves?

What did the games authorities do about Rangers prior to 1989 and what have they done since? What have the players Union done about their discriminatory practice of informing their employees not to bless themselves?

We have the establishment club sponsored by the authorities unchallenged for decades on sectarian employment policies and a minuscule number of employees from an Irish Catholic background since. Unchallenged and not written about.

When this is the case why would we ever expect Neil Lennon to be treated fairly?

Why would any Catholic or Irish Catholic consider playing for Rangers when the hatred of you, your religion and your culture rips from every seem on match day. That club exist on the basis of sectarianism, racism and intolerance of anything that is not British – not them – not white.

They refuse to read a book and have any subsequent empathy for millions of people who became captive and victims of the empire they hold so dear. Their families , yours and mine.

Nothing will ever happen until Rangers apologise for their previous employment practices and acknowledge and re educate the deep rooted right wing facists that so obviously exist in the very large majority of their support.

  18. After the first game of the season ( Livi) I told my Dundee United supporting mate that I had already seen the POTY –Calum McGregor. He then went off the boil a bit but, since our outstanding player of the past two seasons has dropped out, Calmac has been a revelation.
