A big thank you to Tully57 and his cousin, Barry, for extending the warm hand of Timship to my son and grandson yesterday.
They were over in Edinburgh from Dublin and the two gents collected and returned the lads to and from the game.
It was the wee lad’s first Celtic game and what a game it was.

People will have the choice to watch the new league or not?
I believe the vast majority of regular football fans will shun it leaving it to the trendies in Asia,USA and Arab nations.
These audiences are fickle and if something on a modern platform comes along interest will dwindle.
The once beautiful game is dying due to bias and corruption.
Only a return to it’s parochial roots can save it.
Just watched RB Leipzig demolish Hertha Berlin 3-0 away from home. Thursday night has the makings of being a cracker of a game.

Best right back in the league, with the exception of the much maligned Lustig. Can defend and has good delivery when he goes forward. Domestically he would be a good Lustig replacement when he heads back to Sweden, not sure how good he’d be against the better European sides we face (but then none of our defenders are).

“We have a few games behind us and we talk to each other in training and during the game. This is important because when you speak to each other it helps to improve.
“We must speak more and concentrate even more in the European game on Thursday. If we can do that, then we can get a positive result.”

Its good to read that, I’ve often wondered about our communication at the back.
Mrs EC67 and I have managed to mess up holiday holidays bookings meaning that I will now miss 3 home matches in December and the 3 home games at the resumption of fixtures, post split in January.
December fixtures are,
8th Kilmarnock, 13th Salzburg and 19th Motherwell.
January fixtures are,
23rd St. Mirren, 26th Hamilton and 30th St. Johnstone.
My seat is in the south stand, next to the press box; it has is an excellent view.
I am hoping to recoup a wee bit of my outlay by offering my season ticket for December games for £60 , The January games for £50 or all 6 games for £100, ( although I would want my ticket back to attend the Dundee game on Dec 22).
Anyone interested, please indicate and I get in contact with you somehow.
Anyone wishing to pay full face value for tickets would be awesome.
I would donate anything over £100 to Mary’s Meals.

That’ll be him who was digging tunnels under neath our “esteemed” manager, a manager who was in the process of guiding our club to a European final ?
That’ll be the same BQ who, as a result of his trashing of our “esteemed” manager’s reputation, BQ then, in an attempt to save face, proceeded to rain all over the presentation of Uefa’s ‘best fans’ award to Celtic supporters on the Parkheid pitch, presented to Celtic supporters rep’s, from Villa Real supporters rep’s, BQ tried to steal the limelight of the, on the pitch at half time ceremony, and his presence angered the fans so much that, what should have been a treasured ceremony, turned into a crescendo of boo’s, which was a great shame.
Ye see, its like this……
Celtic, will never “really” be, Celtic, for as long as the club is run by, Scottish, Canadian, or Irish Tories.
Who’s fault is that ?

Writing on his Instagram account, McClean began by quoting Bobby Sands, the leader and first of 10 republican hunger-strikers to die in protests in 1981: ‘They have nothing in their whole imperial arsenal that can break the spirit of one Irishman who doesn’t want to be broken.’
The 29-year-old added: “Your abuse, your throwing things, your booing, do your worst.. to the home fans that are actually educated and support me, thank yous.
“To the section of uneducated cavemen in left hand corner of the Boothen End stand that want to sing their anti-Irish song each game and call me a Fenian this and that.. I am a PROUD FENIAN no [one] will ever change that, so sing away.”

Not sure I buy this talk about a European Super League. More likely to be a scare tactic by the big EPL teams to get an extra couple of CL places from UEFA.

BP. Have to watch it .,. Have Chelsea in LMS … talk about cognitive dissonance!?
No point getting upset about people thinking the SpL is a pub league. Too many of them are stuck in the ‘sun never set on the Empire’ nonsense, and being able to look down on Scotland makes them feel less irrelevant. You aren’t going to change that. Plus, in this case, they are mostly right. Scottish football is, for the most part, not great . As is most of English football, out with the top few teams, in spite of the obscene amount of money spent on it

Nothing wrong with applauding great players playing a beautiful game with their talents. They’re a great team.
Jeer the corrupt Uefa system that allows Billionaire Owners to financially fix the game to their advantage and the men that let them get away with it.
