Hi Bhoys, long term lurker and as the name indicates one located in Germany. The relevance of my location is that a sporting scandal concerning the “top” champions league clubs and Eufa is being exposed here by among others Der Spiegal. It is also scheduled to break this evening on national television. Don`t think for a minute this is about weather our club will get an invite to join the Super league cartel or not. What s been uncovered here-and verified-after months of research, is the final stages of the permanent corruption of European football to the benefit of the members of a handful of boardrooms.
Ask yourself, how was it possible that two middle of the road clubs like Man city and PSG could rise so quickly to such power that they can virtually ignore the dictates of Uefa. Brian Quinn would be the man to ask as he chaired the FFP and resigned rather than rubber stamp the stitch-up
Everyone on this blog owes it to themselves to clue themselves up on this and then ask our club to explain its stance on these developments which threatens the whole basis of European football.
According to the Scottish records, the most consecutive appearances with a goal scored in Scotland was achieved by a lassie called Evelyn Morrison who somehow got to play for Falkirk in 1928/29 and managed 14 goals/games.
What was the McGrory record?
Currently Christie and Forrest are on 3 each so they have a long way to go. I’ll take any goalscorer against Leipzig

I really started noticing McGregor’s qualities in the second half of Ronny’s second season when he started playing more centrally. Always thought he was going to turn out to be a top player for us and never wavered from that.
After this year’s SC final I posted on here that within two years he would be one of the top midfielders in Europe.
His performances in the home games against Bayern and Zenit were outstanding. Needs to keep repeating those against that level of opposition. Our biggest problem might be holding on to him. If there’s money to be spent this would be my starting point.

McLeish played O’Donnell as right wing back, he plays as a full back for Killie. The same excuse could be made for him that they make for Robertson, he’s better, and more used to, playing that bit deeper with the game in front of him.

I think The Wild Colonial Bhoy would go down well with the Green Brigade!

Germanjim welcome to one flew over the cuckoos nest.
It won’t be long before someone asks you if you are a Hun?
But just for clarification, are you?? ?

Although I’m in the huff with the Green Brigade for not singing Paradise by George Ezra. A friend of mine who is in the standing section (but not in the GB) reckons it’s too complicated as a football song.
A fantastic day my friend. Thanks to Norrie M for making it a day to remember for you, Jim and Calum. On the winning bet, thanks for the tip…:)
On behalf of myself, CM67, PoB, BM67 and the three Dutch Bhoys thank you for a hooptastic day and good luck tomorrow. I’ll contact Jim on Tuesday to see how things went.
I fogot to say Martin42 was going to pop up at H/T, some of us disappeared to the Lounges for a pint…:)
Until we meet again mate…
Keep the Faith!

I think you’ll find that teams like us Ajax, Porto etc, former big cup winners and big teams who now realize and probably through Brian Quin that we are no longer welcome at the big table and have actively been pursuing a 3rd European tournament
How do you rate O Donnell.Anytime I have watched him for Killie,he looks good.

David 66, I`ll have to give that some serious thought before replying
Tontine Tim, whats been planned here is a complete detachment from Eufa. By their agenda football is only a means to an end and in the case of the arabs it i provides a veil of normalcy to their human rights abuses. And of course a wee return on their investment.

I always thought that Jack Doogan was based on Jack Donahue, who was deported to Oz after being convicted of Fenianish activities. Pretty sure the fair-minded (cough, cough) football fans in Scotland will find some reason to be offended by that song/connection. And also blame NFL in the process?
If we want a great Aussie song … how about Sunlight in a Jar by The Lucksmiths … great song! catchy melody … and the chorus goes ‘trying to sum you up is like catching sunlight in a jar’ … which, I think, is a great description of Rogic when he is in form
Maybe this is something the CQN wordsmiths could work with ….
Aye, Brian Quinn will know all about it right enough, resigned from them and walked straight into helping Qatar to procure the WC and some folks wonder if Celtic are conflicted.

Wizard of Oz for Tam – great idea
Who holds the record for goals scored consecutively since the greatest-James Edward McGrory?
How about?……
There was a Wild Colonial Bhoy
Tom Rogic was his name
Or is “Colonial” a bit off nowadays?
Alternatively
He came from a land down under
Where women glow and men plunder (sure there is a reference to Zombies in that lyric)
As a last resort:-
Waltzing Tom Rogic
Waltzing Tom Rogic….
The only other major Oz song I can think of is
Tie me Tom Rogic Down, sport
To a New Contract, tie him down!
Tony. ??
