    3 points. Thompson frustrated. Good entertaining game. Victor did much better last 10 mins at the back. Efe looks a great player despite the blip near the end. Kris tried all day, my M.O.M. Good to see Kayal & Izzy looking like their old selves.

    That is the importance of match officials in tight results. And when we have the bent officials that exist in Scotland the only remedy is goals by the bucketload. Because the mibbery will never go away.

     

    But a win is what we got, and that’s what matters.

     

    On the whole, Hertz were boring and agricultural in their approach, but one slack pass from an otherwise efficient Efe Ambrose nearly cost us right at the death.

     

    For once, fortune favoured the better team.

    Good result, nervy only because we didn’t kill the game off. We were in control for the most part. All besides Efe’s slack pass he was solid once again and composed on the ball.. Sammi and Commons were good but both tired. I’ve no doubt Miku is a talented player but haven’t been impressed most times I’ve seen him – hope he doesn’t have think this is a holiday for him.

     

     

    We had plenty of chances to kill the game off and didn’t take them, all it would have taken would be Samaras or Hooper or Forrest to have stuck a leg out and we’d have been comfortable.

     

     

    Some really bad officiating today with some baffling calls.

    Celtic top. 6 points between Celtic and 7 other teams. Now who said there would be no competition? Teams have no Rangers to lie down to, so they are playing football. Refs like Thompson and his assistants will still be biased but Celtic are too good with the squad that has been assembled. Contrast the loss of Kayal for almost a year, after being lauded as one of the team’s most important players. League won, winning in Europe—Celtic will attract more people to the game because, as they’ve always done, they play the game as it should be played.

    Good display from us today; especially after a tough Champions League week and long trip to Moscow.

     

    Team were efficient today. We could so easily have had two or three more with a wee bit of luck. Kris Commons was magnificent imo. What a numpty Levein is for not selecting him. Best player in the country along with Sammi.
