How’s life in Doire? Police Scotland are driving us away. Two of my son’s mates are fourth year law students. They were on Dam Square. They are close to the Green Brigade. Our youth following the example of Big Nan Fife’s Finest will make a change.

Mags Mc Gill-only 44?-thought you would be older.

Based on what I’ve read today re what supporters have experienced today at CP- I think Celtic PLC have lost the plot-and losing the support.

  3. It’s rotten to find I’d completely forgotten

It looks like we are all going to have to agree to disagree.

I couldn’t see them correct, however I could see the polis cus they were standing at the stairwell at the side of the stand right beside where I sit. I could hear them clearly and it was only celtic songs they sung. As I said earlier I have no sympathy for the gb, I just feel this was mistreatment of fans. I thought earlier there were prob throw out for refusing to sit down and blocking peoples views however according to others in the area the guys moved to the back so they weren’t blocking anyone’s view. Now the stadium wasn’t even half full so plenty of seats to move around and if the guys have made an effort to not block peoples views then the stewards IMO were wrong to throw them out. My mate sits in the LL stand, he then moves to JS stand at half time if they can see empty seats, do you think my mate should get thrown out for not sitting in his correct seat.

  9. For a laugh

All those who support the board could

go to one end of CP

And all those who want change at the other.

Then we could chant songs at each other.

    Who needs the rangers ?

Life seems quieter under the PSNI than under the Scottish Polis..

BTW does your nephew play for Dundee United under 21’s or a younger team?

Not a problem if someone sits in a seat not allocated to them, but, if that someone is deemed to be to be causing some sort of unbecoming behaviour, they should be subjected to the same rules as the majority of the support have to adhere to. And I mean the majority. Nice chatting.

  14. After our scary scrape through the qualifiers (just) against what amounted to Euro Pub teams, who thinks that we didn’t/or did punch above our weight in the group stage against real fitba teams?

E=mc2 makes a valid point. All those who are banging on about the Green Brigade’s right to freedom of expression no matter what seem unconcerned with the fact that UEFA sanctions will only become more punitive with each flagrant contravention of their rules. Would the GB defenders be prepared to take this to its logical conclusion, which is to see Celtic expelled from UEFA competitions altogether?

  16. sixoclockatthechapel on

Am I reading today’s accounts coming from the game correct?-singing Celtic songs is now something that can get you called out by the Stewards-Police?

  17. garygillespieshamstring on

The seats smashed at Motherwell were green brigade seats. A guy who was banned from today’s game was banned because his mate in the green brigade collected tickets for him and so his name was against two seats in the section. He sat elsewhere in the stand because he did not want to sit in with the green brigade. He cannot prove where he sat but could tell the row and seats he had used. As a result, his ban stands.

No, I don’t go to places I’m not wanted. I presume you were not at the “GB Meeting” today, were you at the game? Did you actually see trouble at any part of CP. The nonsense which is being touted on here is quite extraordinary. Some posters on this sacred blog seem to be looking for their “15 minutes of fame”. I wish they would take their ambitions elsewhere.

Jimmci, then fight for it. How? Thats up to you, I do, I talk, socialise, support, argue, agree, protest, disagree, bkog, run, right articles do the things I can to keep it lit.

    And it is.

  22. Earlier I posted the 5 guys positioned to the left of section 111 (GB) were escorted out because the seats which they were to be sitting on….did not correspond with their number on their season book…….simply they shouldn’t have been there……..CELTIC POLICE and STEWARDS don’t want any new formation of the GB or tribute acts…….all of this euthoria will soon die away……sign a goal scoring c/f and start to put bums on them seats afore its too late, stop bringing in duds

With the utmost respect you have this hatred for the GB? Why?

To be honest what are you going on about? Guys have gave honest accounts of what happened at Celtic Park today? Are you suggesting they are telling lies?

  28. On the way into the ground today at No 1

i witnessed stewards asking a supporter

to take out his banner and lay it on the ground

bearing in mind it’s blowing a gale and pouring with the rain.

    Completely unnecessary.
