Hope CG keeps his head up, AM defending shocking for the third goal.
The goals we are giving away in this game are criminal and I don’t know if Inter would have had one goal if not for bad defending and bad keeping.
That goal at the end has deflated a lot of people.
Going in at 2-2 after being 2 down against an Italian team would have been good going but why the hell does Gordon wait until tonight to screw up so monumentally?
I am not sure if we’ll score again but we know they are shaky at the back, sadly so are Celtic and just as it looked like we had put a hard luck story behind us and might go on and win this game we get that.
I am honestly in despair at that.
How can we ever hope to progress when we give away freebies like that?
Celtic have shown they are improving but I fear that his just knocked the wind right out of the team.
Lose another goal and I don’t see any way back a second time with a 2 goal deficit.

I watched Real yesterday against Schalke, and while it was very technical the level of entertainment and excitement was poor.
This is what football should be. This was what European nights under big Jock were like.

Thing is, celtic have been very smart at the back for much of the game, 3 well taken goals by inter, 2 very well worked goals by the hoops.

However, the bad start asked the big question and for my money, we have answered that.

He’s been superb for us this season,to the extent that we are only playing tonight because of his heroics in the group stages.

At 7.30pm tonight, Craig Gordon was the best SPFL goalkeeper. By a country mile. A real hard-working and talented professional. He still is. Give the man a break! We are playing way out of our league and doing well.

An amazing, if completely crazy, game of football.
Both our full backs are an absolute liability at this level defensively. Teams in Europe from Warsaw to Zagreb to inter now have cottoned on to it and exploit them ruthlessly. But to give Matthews and izzy their due they have played their part in an attacking sense; if you’re going to cost goals make sure you set some up in return at the other end and Adam has done that.
We will need to score 5 to win this. But on that first half anything is possible.
Stuart Armstrong is a terrific player and Mackay Steven is doing well too.
