  1. All the HT scores showing just now

We have seen 5 goals and genre were only 5 total in the other 6 or so games they put up

  2. Heartbreaking. The second goal, the skid off the turf was the reason.Like a bullet.Very unlucky. We seem to be the unluckiest team in Europe. If we dont give away goals,we get no luck whatsoever.Has been this way since the 60s.

2-2 would have been a great result at half time.Real shame for Gordon, but he got us here.

  3. Has any ex – Celtic player look so happy as Sutton is tonight that we are losing . A great player but an utter ass.

  4. Great entertaining game…..a million times better than the p@sh served up by PSG Chelski…..who was it that said as long as we score more goals than our opponents who cares the score ( am either paraphrasing or making it up )

Goalkeeper …the loneliest position on the park when you’re having a nightmare

As someone said earlier ….without his heroics in the earlier EL games we wouldn’t be here

Ronny will be telling the lads that Inter are there for the taking – and I believe him. Our pressing and pace will bring us goals and not just via the wings but we need to be on our guard as they are no mugs. My predictions, 4-3 for the hoops, Craig Gordon will not put a foot wrong in the second half, GMS to score . Man of the match – The lads and lassies in the stands. Keep the faith

  8. A game of two halfs?

Delighted with the character and work rate.

Feeling heart sorry for Craig Gordon.

Proud the support are singing his name..

45 minutes for this team to make its mark big time.

    Looking forward to it.

The Bhoys are more than capable…

  9. Ronny…’your’ Celtic team look like they’ve just stepped out of the Jungle and…onto Celtic Parks hallowed turf…anything can and, probably will happen now…..my guess…6-3…and the rest of the journey is up to you…Ronny bhoy….Legendary status awaits you…..go get it.

  10. More goals to come here tonight I think. Next one is vital. Regardless though, we are leagues ahead of where we were 6 months ago and have shown real signs of progress.

Proud of the effort and guts being shown.

  11. Poor in goals and at the back and good middle to front. Gordon at fault for 2 goals, terrible game to have a stinker but it has to happen some time. Cannot understand why he didn’t let the ball skid out the park though.

It is hugely refreshing to see us play some football in Europe though.

    Hope ur correct

I think we ard far more intensive now & have ( more) players who can play at pace

    To me that’s RD’s philo

  13. Tiny, tiny things make a huge difference at this level.

If it wasn’t for CG we wouldn’t even be playing this game tonight. But if he had the benefit of hindsight, CG could have simply pulled his arm away from two of their efforts and we’d be 2-1 ahead rather than 2-3 down!

The initial shot at the first goal was going wide, and if he’d left the ball at the third, it would most likely have rolled out for a goal kick.

I don’t get the pundits having a go at Izzie. Why on earth should a left back be picking up an attacker to the right of the centre of goal, especially with one of the centre-backs close by? Surely that was Denayer or Virgil’s man?

And having criticized him for not closing down an attacker, they then criticize him for getting his foot in to attempt a clearance on the edge of the 6 yard box, which unfortunately rebounded off Virgil and fell right at the feet of an attacker. There really isn’t a lot either defender could have done about that in the time and space available. It was simply unlucky.

But well done to the Bhoys for making such a spectacle of the first half. They have been far from outclassed by a team of players, some of whom have bigger annual salaries than what we have paid in transfer fees for a few of our Bhoys!

I’ll happily take the aforementioned 4-4 draw, and a classic Catenaccio inspired 1-0 win in the second leg.

  14. Neutrals in the bar saying Celtic have been the better side, but……………………………i know most of them -)))))

  15. Unbelievable first half. Three unfortunate errors, two from someone you wouldn’t expect, but otherwise we’ve been organised, we’re harassing, always have running and passing wel. Much better performance than many of our famous nights. If only for Gordon…

  16. Let’s get real we are never going to win the EL for many a year but we are certainly being entertained tonight and it’s great to watch – win, lose or draw.

  17. Oh, and those who say we haven’t progressed under RD, yous must be spending all your time at the bigot dome.

Some of our play is superb, individual mistakes the coach can’t do anything about.

  18. Right bhoys, you’ve toyed with them long enough!
