We need a new management team led by directors that support them

the board brought Rodgers back , Rodgers identified the need for 4 quality additions to help the starting 11 (not squad) – the board didn’t back him and here we are!
The board lack ambition and have wasted money buying players who wouldn’t get a game for some bottom six SPL teams.
Rodgers tactics – Kyogo as a 10 (WTF) – wingers taking ball , teasing , passing back – EVERY one of this blog can do that!
Rogers – Just walk and call the board out for not supporting you or the team!

Why did we change from 4411 to a 433 after that we went down hill fast….not angry anymore.

Had Bernardo put away a fairly simple 8 yard effort instead of leaning back and driving it over the bar, you wouldn’t be asking that question.
It’s not tactical. It’s not mental. It’s simple. We’re littered with dross.

Both have to go.
In their petty ego trips they have put themselves above Celtic.

You still have to get over the line.
38 trophies in 24 years vs your 12 is a pretty decent return.
Especially when we are up against such as your star man Beaton today.
If Rogers, with 14 first team squad players, from the squad which won back to back titles can’t win a game like todays I do agree it will be a challenge.
stebhoy on
Clunks – have you been watching celtic lately?. we struggle to beat ross fkn county , killie have owned us this season.
Do I think we have better players ? yes – but I dont think Rodgers is coaching this team to their strengths.
He won’t change – time for someone else give this team a spark.
dessybhoy on
We have about 6 players to build a squad, A Squad around, that is a challenge, recruitment as most of us agree has been lousy for a couple of years minimum , every team here recognises our weakness we are small and technical we have no physicality. So sad it should not be like this if the first team is the priority rather than signing players to sell in 2 years or less. Root and branch changes are needed but Desmond will decide which means he wont as long as tickets keep selling.

Listen to these ingrate plebs! Vulgar, entitled so-and-so’s so they are!
We did the same against Hibs and lost the midfield that was my concern.

McInnes whipped rogers today, so so easily.
And the last time.
Rogers has no management ability for us now. There are no tactics which can produce goals. He has destroyed kyogo.
He has no tactics that will prevent goals.
We even missed 4 penalties, two in one game, by the same player.
Rogers is consumed by playing tge ball in a u shape, slowly, with very very poor wingers.
If anyone knows Rogers can they please tell him to go.

That was completely unacceptable.
I said it on here when the team was announced:
Taylor, Palma and Maeda?? Deary me.
We were holding on for the entire second half!
On Thursday I watched the EL and ECL games, we are MILES behind these teams. MILES!!
And today just proved that.
Japanese, Korean, Argentinian and German players and we can only draw at home till Kilmarnock???

I know I should ignore, but how does the Celtic chairman benefit from the huns winning the league?
His team loses a trophy, the club loses money., he receives dogs abuse.
What’s the pluses for him?

He is unable to put a team on the park that will beat the dross we have in Scotland.

i’ve never bought the nonsense about DD PL or any of them actually wanting the Hun to win the league (tho im not sure DD would know or care)
but i do think that they try decide what is the minimum we need to spend on players to scrape the league while keeping piles of cash in the bank so they get their large bonuses
while they rake it in from our money.
we are getting fleeced by fat cat tory greedy cnts
but so is the rest of the country

I’m sure you don’t get bonuses from money in the bank, you make the bonus from the revenue/profit made each year, which you only get from being successful. So again, how do the board benefit from it??
Weebobbycollins on
I’m afraid Brendan Rodgers has lost his mojo. No wingers, no strikers (Kyogo is a very average footballer), weak midfield, dreadful set-pieces, hesitant goalkeeper…thank goodness we have a great chairman and board.
Since the good first half against Aberdeen, we collapsed to nervous wrecks with an unstructured formation in the 2nd half. The pitchforks were out
We then did the same v Hibs- gifting them an equaliser and falling apart, but ended up stealing a win with a last minute penalty. Pitchorks were placed on stand by and we hoped this stroke of fortune would give us a reprieve to kick on.
We followed up that with a hard fought, but not very impressive win against St. Mirren in the Cup and some posters thought they might try pitchforking the pitch forkers who had disappeared that night.
However today’s draw against Killie sees the pitchfork brigade securely in charge of the field. Form can slump for a couple of games and your rep and past memory can earn you a narrow win, like Hibs and St. Mirren.
But luck only carries you so far. This is a slump and drastic changes are needed. I don’t want BR sacked now- god knows who we’d get but the team needs shaken up- badly
onenightinlisbon on
The board are culpable for many things, the most serious this season was the backward appointment of a man who walked away from us when we needed him most.
