  1. Heres a flavour from FF

So Warburton goes – Do you trust the chairman to fork out for a replacement

Alex McLeish is out of a job right now

    _______________________________

    King will want Big Eck.

I am sure that was his choice when McCall went.

So we keep a loosing manager who keeps dropping us points and has us near relegation.

Its the emperors clothes with two many on FF they think everything is really fine when the reality is our manager cant sort his defence and plays 3 forwards yet none of them can score

Warburton has achieved and won next to nothing. Like McCoist before him far too inexperienced and to set in their ways and dont have the managerial skills to change things

I am as bored watching this lot go from side to side without even trying to go for goal as I was watching Ally’s lot stumbling about the pitch.

  2. Thanks to the Zombies for rounding off a great weekend for me.

My own club won yesterday morning to go top of the league.

    Celtic beat Kilmarnock 6-1

I get my football bet up with minutes to spare

The Zombies beat by a last minute goal.

    If Carlsberg did weekends….

    B-)

BTW has anyone heard from Monaghan 1900 recently? I used to love his posts from the dark side

  3. And a brilliant pic of a faux pas by the loathesome kitman Bell, Krankjar and Hallidays jerseys hung up next to each other, the nimbers are 19,16……no laughing at the back….

    =====================================

I heard Jabba (Divine, aka Grandmaster Suck, aka Mark Dingwall) put a bounty on his head and Bobba Fett has delivered him frozen in carbonite somewhere in FollowFollow towers….

  5. Can I ask if any of our North of Ireland bhoys are travelling to Paradise by plane Wednesday 5 o clockish flight ?

I have a very nervous friend travelling by air after a very harrowing experience flying home from a Celtic match last year , appeared in court under “THE ACT” thrown out but has left her traumatised to say the least

I’d appreciate if anyone was going that I could tell her a fellow Tim was there

    Thanks in advance

  6. Garner seems a bit dolly into the bargain. Doesn’t speak well and seems to have a really bad attitude. He did a interview there for hun media and he doesn’t come of too bother at all.

Terrible footballer to boot, I said after the Killie game on the Friday night that he will hurt someone and he will, a wee thug of a man, cheat of the highest order. Fellow pros must hate this wee guy.

    KLV

  7. Whaaaa, from hunmedia….

    Dear Mr. Warburton,

How are you feeling right now? Anxious, stressed, worried, disappointed, angry? All of the above?

Well if not, then you should be, because that is exactly how every Rangers fan is feeling across the country.

You need to stand up and take note of what everyone is screaming at you and change things before it’s too late. I hate to agree with the Mutton, but I fear a dropping points against Partick would seal your fate.

I’ve tried to remain positive, even sticking up for you recently when many fans have doubted you, however it pains me to say I am now on their side.

5 wins out of 17 is not acceptable, not by a long way. Not just for Rangers, for any club. It’s embarrassing. We have become the laughing stock of the SPFL.

So here would be my advice…leave the stubbornness at the door.

Change the formation, 4-3-3 is not working for us. You may have this fantastical dream about adopting the same style of play and flare as Barcelona, but we are not Barcelona. Where they have Neymar Messi and Suarez, we have McKay Waghorn and Garner.

Pick our best 11 and stick to it. Fuck hurting a players feelings because they don’t start every game. Fuck it. This isn’t primary school where everyone has to be involved. Try and encourage some competition to fight for a solid starting spot to bring the best out of the team. If every player is going to be guaranteed a start every other week it removes the desire to try and overachieve. It’s making us soft.

Play players in their proper positions. All of this rotation is messing with the squad cohesion, and makes them disjointed. McKay today was a prime example. He underperformed anyway, but as soon as he started to play more central his passing went to shit, ending up at the feet of a red shirt more often than not.

Anyway, I like you Mark, but my faith in you is dangling by the thinnest of threads.

I hope you can find it in yourself to hold your hands up, admit your plan is not working, and change something drastically before you are forced out the door.

I believe you can do well at our Club, but if success will mean losing face for you then so be it.

    Sincerely,

Decided to go watch Aberdeen today – first visit to Pittodrie this season.

    Glad I did.

Zombies had decent ball retention but no real threat. Even with the ref on their side they’re so average.

To be honest a draw would have been fair result so great to watch the final goal fly in.

  9. First thing tomorrow morning Dodgy Dave phones Big Eck….

” hi Alex, do you fancy your old job back as manager, this wan we’ve got just now disnae have a Scooby” ?

Eck ” How big will my EBT be”?

Dodgy Dave, ” eh no, we don’t daethem any more”.

Eck, ” f**k aff ya dafty”.

    Bada bing,

To be honest mate unless they have upgraded those bogs not much to destroy……..

  11. According to the BBC – “The Dons were lamentably bad; their midfield was bossed and their use of the ball was dreadful” – yet they still beat Sevco!

  12. DENA29….

Hopefully catch up on Wednesday if you can make the BV, hoping HT can source a ticket for my Son as he was let down. He’s already sorted me for a ticket which I much appreciated.

I will return the favour when HT is stuck for away games. Hail Hail.

  13. A terrible game between two pish teams.

    Aberdeen our nearest challengers?!

The league will be over by halloween ffs!

    Enjoyed the scoreline ‘tho.

Warburton totally out of his depth, if I may say so with all due respect!

Every time he is interviewed after a match, there should be an interpreter standing by.

    HH!!

  15. PeterLatchfordsBelly on

He gave a presser talking up how big a club Sevco are, citing the quality and nutrition of the breakfasts at Murray Park as evidence…

  16. Jeez-oh…………

Warbies in for it, eh…….I mean, seventh in the league….rabid teddies with or without laptops………….think o’ the heavy questionin’ he’s in for…

..aaaaaaaan’ confrontin’ the Ref like that………………….! He’ll be carpeted by the authorities for the “disgraceful scenes”…………………..shoorly?

  17. PeterLatchfordsBelly on

“from beginning to end we were great in parts”. Mr Infelicity. And he’s not even Norwegian. Our guy could string a coherent sentence together.

  18. Heard the Sevco players were spooked by the shabby standard of doors at Pittodrie. And this coming soon after a non-Auchen-why-ie breakfast. No wonder they lost. ;)))

  19. GlassTwoThirdsFull on

Sevco now on course to miss their 55 points target.

Although the Dave King January overinvestment could easily change that…..

  20. Cheers Bhoys for the ” breakfast” explanation, I obviously missed it.

On that theme, since the Dons fans were chanting at Wallace that he’s a grass, and given his ” breakfast” blast…….does that make Wallace a ” bad egg” ?

    Sorry couldn’t help myself

  21. prestonpans bhoys on

Now just watch the hat’s behaviour on the pitch then the after match speech, a despicable character and if the SFA do sweet fa then they deserve what comes to them in the future. This is like allowing a wild animal in your hoose……

  22. would have preferred sheep and orcs to draw today, but the thought of the perma ragers greetin aww the way down fae Aberdeen brings a smile to my face.

  23. I hear the hun hordes have carried out tens of thousands of pounds of improvements to the Pittodrie loos!

    HH!!

  24. Interesting weekend of football… Well done Brendan and the bhoys…

Didn’t catch much but thanks CQNers for the links to the highlights and goals.

It was good to see us pressing Killie after we had lost possession, then regaining possession leading to quality chances and goals. We need to do more of this. Especially against quality sides.

Great goal from Killie and awesome freekick for Aberdeen’s winner… some real quality in Scottish Football.

Interesting re-Sevco. I was thinking earlier that today’s result might be important for them.

If you look back on Rangers playing about a decade ago… around the time some were bleating about a Generation of Domination for Celtic;)

Now the reality was that Celtic were a well run, well resouced Club and Aberdeen, Hearts and Rangers all had their problems to deal with.

Now also around this time, Rangers were taking steps to bring their Club into a sustainable position. This lead to Rangers coming third in the League after Celtic and Hearts.

This policy of finding Rangers “natural” level was abandoned and Messers Smith & McCoist were encouraged to desert the Scottish National Team at a crucial time and Join Rangers for an unpresidented surge to get back a in touch and overtake Celtic.

Now Rangers had several things up their sleeves so to speak… to give them an advantage…

    The Financial Doping

The EBT funded payments to players

    The honest mistakes and

The support of the SFA, turning a blind eye to rule infringments, helping with fixture planning etc…

Now to me these things were worth at least 20 points a Season… enuff to allow them to be competitive with Celtic.

Of course this gerrymandering was built on sand and despite the best efforts of Scotland’s great and good the house of cards fell.

Then Sevco came to be, with those same folk trying to convince all that Scotland needed a Strong Rangers (the mantle to be endowned on Sevco).

So back to the present and following on Sevco’s appearance in a major Scottish final and promotion into the top League there was those – all to keen – to promote the “return” of Rangers.

But things had moved on, Rangers had died and Scottish Football improved, the myth of Scotland needing a strong Rangers held no credibility in fact.

    Still, many were not detered…

But here’s their problem, even IF Sevco could utilise their “Rangers” mantle to get the “traditional advantages” to the max… it could not get them Glory, the fact is Celtic are much better than any 20 point “advantage” they could muster.

Add to that the EBT’s and Financial Doping were no longer available, it now looks like an advantage of 10 points max.

Now, as the Season has started it is apparent that Sevco can, at least to a certain extent, call on the ex-Rangers placemen – but here’s the rub… to what extent.

There are obvious indications – things like Sevco’s opening fixture list and Referee Thompson’s behaviour signalling their placemen are alive and well.

    BUT

If we look at the process and outcome of the SFA enquiry into the aftermath of the Scottish Cup final and if you look at Celtic “getting” some decisions you can see Sevco’s “network” is not as extensive nor all-encompassing as the ex-Rangers’ was… IMO far from it.

So how much advantage can their placemen give them… well certainly not as much as they’d like and due to the team being so poor maybe not even as much as that. Furinstance Sevco were unable to take advantage of a very favourable fixture list at the start of the Season.

Now, in this regard, for me today’s result against Aberdeen was crucial as an indicator…

Was Sevco, a team that would be competing for a chance to play in Europe at the end of the Season or were they a team vying for a place in the top six after the split?

Well once again Sevco got the fixture advantage, 48 hours more preperation and recovery time than Aberdeen leading up to this crucial League fixture and once again they couldn’t take advantage.

It renders Sevco to a position now, whete they are in the bottom half of the League and their gerrymandering looks like it is worth less than half a dozen points. Maybe enuff to get them in the top six!? But difficullt to see them competing for a European place.

    Hail Hail

  25. Funny old game is Scottish football.

    Uppity fenians keep winning.

And the establishments team slide into the bottom half of the table despite their best efforts.

The overhyped fannies who struggled against part timers last season were tipped to restore the natural order this season by many with zero evidence to support that assertion.

They will fill the papers with the injustice of a free kick given that according to the laws of the game was a foul.

You cannot tackle from behind wether you win the ball or not so ref made correct call.

The bitter mssm and rabid hordes will whine and bleat but justice was served in awarding the foul by a ref who gave sevco every decision all day.

  26. PRESTONPANS BHOYS

The stuff they have got away with in the past 4 years, They have carte blanche. He is out of untenthered at best.
