Unfortunately we are missing a team way of playing. There is no recognisable pattern or method. All very ad hoc.
Still, under a barrage of corners and long throws we didn’t concede (thanks Efe).

The CEO’s fate is in the hands of hte majority shareholder but is probably seen now as an obstacle for next year.
We must struggle through this year to try to finish 2nd- regardless of whether new manager is appointed or we have an interim.
There is still a cup and CL qualification to play for- and a team re-build
Shocking all round today .. Just so bad it’s unreal.
Without all the players missing we should still have enough to impose more of a threat to Livingstone.
One of the obvious problems we have is the complete lack of strength and complete lack of height in the team.
We regularly don’t win the first header which then creates problems with the second phase.
We’re too powderpuff and that’s also taking into consideration who was missing.
The team needs rebuilt with one of the priorities being
recruiting players that are capable of defending cross balls.
Goalkeepers all 3 of them not good enough.
Our full backs are too small and not good enough
( that’s all of them Laxalt / Frimp / Taylor and Boli El Hamhad Ralston.
Duffy should be playing for Macclesfield Town and Bitton is unreliable.
Brown is now on the way out
Nitcham is a passenger as is Rogic
Adjeti and Polish Paddy on the evidence so far are not good enough.
To add to the malaise I thought Soro and Turnbell were invisible today.
It’s a huge rebuild required with a recruitment team
In place that have shown gross incompetence on a regular basis.
Where do we go from here ???

ACH… I will just leave it today but I always try very hard to find a positive to consoul myself struggling this week .
we are being shown here the complete size of the mess the first team squad. Maybe only has 6/7 keepers it seems no strength in depth and it seems no talent emerging for us also.
It’s all very depressing I finally lost my last bit of hope today but my fear is nothing will change to the end of the season !
The only thing that can stop the huns from winning the league is Covid-19. I just hope TET is wrong.😉
None of us expected to win forever nor take the 10 for granted. Have Sevco improved? Yes they have but no spectacularly so. So if if we ended up not winning the 10, worst case scenario for me was losing by a few points, but this is something else. There’s probably going to be a 30 point (and counting) turnaround from last season, how did that happen? As I said there’s something fundamentally wrong in our entire football operation, too easy to blame it all on Lenny. The heart has been ripped out of our club I’m sorry to say.

We’d have had a better chance of recruiting a manager of that calibre when we were screaming for it in December.
With more points dropped, the Dubai PR debacle and the half-hearted apology from Lawwell, I’d be surprised if any manager worth is salt would come unless there were major changes at the top.
Expect Jack Ross or Alex Neil.
for everyone including Paul desperate for Ewan to get a game today then his performance said it all , terrible , half hearted , miles off it.
Every day the board choose to do nothing is one day fewer the new management team have for next season.
Hopefully, no more nonsense about 3 games in hand = 9 points.
We have issues all over the park, boardroom and training ground.

Bookies rarely wrong.
Hibs arrived on a poor run of form, and looked both fitter and stronger than us. Livingstone arrive on form and they knew there was no need for ten men behind the ball, fitter, stronger and better organised than us, they created more chances, and it has to be said, had a better referee. For all the money we have spent on our player development over the years, (though Academies are little more than a Grammar school for footballers) and all the players we have signed, and got on loan, we have seen up close we have no real depth or quality in the wider squad. That is down to football management.
Celtic doing 10 was only beating our own record, Rangers are in liquidation their 9 achieved with cheating the tax man and dual contracts has gone.

The only positive going forward is that if we get a new manager in NOW, then they are starting from the bottom performance wise (worst I’ve ever seen since i landed from Mars 10 years ago)

We dropped Welsh after Monday night, who in my opinion was arguably MOTM v Hibs. So do we wonder why the young players do not want to sign extended contracts and why the first team players do not feel under pressure to perform?
We all know that our Club needs an enema but the Dr in charge seems reluctant to administer it due to the fact he couldn’t give a toss and would prefer to play golf in the sun.

Given the circumstances – 13 players out and a thrown-together team who haven’t had a manager or first team coach for a week – against an in-form team very high on confidence I thought that was ok.
We’ve done well to only concede a goal over the two games, I feared at least one doing.
Hopefully we’ve bottomed out now.

Not sure I agree that there hasn’t been a massive improvement at Sevco. 21 wins and 2 draws out of 23 games with only 6 conceded isn’t to be sniffed at.
I agree that if we had our own house in order, we should’ve still won the league but maybe somebody more knowledgable than me could tell me how many points Sevco had at this stage last season…

We started the game with only one fringe/reserve player. That was Ralston and I thought he dod ok.
It was Frimpong, Rogic and Johnson who were completely ineffectual. Unfortunately, Henderson and Okoflex did themselves no favours when thy came on.
Is it any surprise now that CH wants a move away from the club?
We are the football equivalent of the English Test + Trace effort.
Well not quite — Dido Harding is more on it than NL.

i just think the board might have thought it wasnt worth the risk due to COVID and losing players .

As for guys venting their anger plenty have done it after poor results , from the start of the season there has been a lack of fitness , tactics , use of subs , players out of their preferred position

i don’t actually know what anyone expected of two makeshift squads… to draws …..first team were beat at home by a poor Ross County (then)

Thought young Welsh was a stick on today.
He prefers to play right back, so why not if your reintroducing Bitton to CB.
Plus he is a big lhad.
He might have relieved some pressure that was put on us via high balls.
However, thought Ralston did ok.
He did get stuck in.
Once again subs failed to impress.

Hibs game — we looked in charge just a bit aimless in their half.
We were playing with a glass jaw / no confidence and so it turned out.
Today we were schooled / dominated by a Livi side who had confidence and some coaching.
They contolled the game but were a bit light up front.
However they gave us a football lesson.

I am glad you posted again as Wee BGFC at 1.40 because when I read his post at 1.07 and his reference to his wife’s mam being unwell at 89 (best wishes to both by the way, and hope she can make a good recovery) I thought to masel, the Bhoy has only started school and went and got himself married already. To an older woman too if my arithmetic is still any good…..fair play to him

Agree, but a development side wouldn’t have gotten the ‘valuable’ point we got ( Aberdeen lost ) and we’ve been playing for second long before Ibrokes or Dubai.
You’re right though, Duffy Frimpong Laxalt and possibly Rogic would all likely have played despite isolations, and all four are far from good enough IMO
