With a depleted squad against all conquering Livingston we achieved a draw.
Is that a turning point?

I think that it’s difficult generally speaking for fringe players to make any real difference without a run of games under their belts, you’d think that if we had any sort of identity in how we play throughout the club it might have been easier.
We are a cluster f*ck of a club now, no identity, structure, fitness, professionalism worth mentioning but most galling are the lemmings in charge. Replacing PL with another puppet whilst won’t change much might give the support a boost, replacing the manager would definitely give the support and the team a boost, tbh at 53 I think I will have had both doses f the vaccine before we see any change in our club. There’s little point in us recruiting any players this window new manager or not.

Physically weak all over the park , is there a weights room at Lennoxtown, upper body strength missing in most of the squad, bullied all season .

i think we scout the wrong type of players from a younger age
our scouts see these wee fast tricky midfielders and wingers at under 12 school games and think they will turn out to be world beaters
but when they turn 21 they are still wee fast tricky midfielders and wingers but get skelpt off the ball by every opponent so are useless
if mikey johnston and david turnbull played in the same under 12 team i bet our scout would have come away raving about mikey
but who would you rather have in our first team now?
change the scouting philosophy if we are to compete at a decent level

Big Georges Fan Club - Hail, Hail, Wee Oscar on
On the subject of Tom at centre forward – absolutely agree it is akin to Calmac at left back, or MJ at centre forward, or any number of midfielders who have taken the defence / centre back slots recently – all truly crap management decisions.
None of these were opinions with the benefit of hindsight.
Most fans, when they see these stupid personnel and positional decisions, call them out before the game kicks-off. Me and WeeBGFC were saying TR upfront was nuts before the game kicked off today – I’m sure nearly everyone else was too. Same in those other cases.
Yet our professional management team seem not to see what us amateur supporters can plainly see – they are rotten, daft, nonsensical decisions – and so it almost always transpires.
Similar theme – those claiming that people only thought the Dubai trip was wrong only after the team came back and had to self-isolate – that’s bollocks. I never heard anyone saying this was a good idea – not necessarily because they predicted infections / close contacts – but just because, in all the circumstances we are all in, it was simply and plainly wrong.
Time and time again, the management-level decision making at the club is absolutely, shockingly bad.
Who can save us? Not the current CEO – he’s now part of the problem, not the solution. Not the manager and coaches, and football personnel people – the woeful performances from them is there for all to see this season. Not the Chairman – completely empty jersey – vacant.
Who are we left with? Dermot Desmond. That’s our sole hope for positive change just now.
That is a truly worrying over-dependance on a single, often absentee, major shareholder.
Not where we thought we would end up when the Rebels finally won.
