Good morning all from Govanhill. Another wonderful week starts now. Top of the league, top of the world. You can never have enough good times. 👍

Great win for the Bhoys today. Dundee played as well as they could – they’ve had a good season, but the champions came through in the end. Really pleased for Jamsie. What a pro he is. The Bhoys are a tight group – signs that all is well behind the scenes.
BRRB – go back to bed – it’s way too early :)

Think BSR stopped posting after his good friend (eurochamps67) sadly passed away .. hopefully will return in his own time
……..…
He stopped posting because he was operating undercover as a sleekit unannounced MOD deleting posts which weren’t of an ass licking nature, mainly my posts.
But mega-mouth ex-MOD Clunk grassed in BSR by asking “Are you not deleting that post, BSR?” during a tsunami of anti Lawwell, anti PLC, anti Complicit £49 Old Firm ticket treason posts, etc, etc.
That’s imho.
PS, Last week in the nerve jangling SCSF vs Aberdeen, the Dons boss man marked CalMac and MOR out of the game for the entirety of the game.
Dundee’s boss did the same yesterday…and £50k per week Brendan had no answers. 👀️
But Brendan has often described himself as a “lucky manager” so hopefully he continues to be lucky…2 shots at goals and scoring with both falls into the lucky category.
PPS, The Tories want to end the Welfare State because millions are injured with vaxxine clot shot turbo cancer poison injections…and the NHS are still denying vaxxines as the cause of these millions of dead, injured, and dying citizens…as admission means that they have participated in a genocide or a holocaust of innocent citizens. 👀️
Some folk on here cheered on this madness and demanded the banning of whistle blowers! 👀️

Good Morning Celts – Grand Day To Be A Tim
Great match yesterday, if not great football, really lovin’ the end of season runin’.
One of the Glasgow Giants is going to have a double, Celtic could end up without a trophy to show for this season’s “endeavours”.
So nerves are frayed…
It’s NOT going to happen, but judging by the comments a wee reality check is needed.
Outside Kuhn, the team that started today was from Ange’s squad.
Who are we missing from Ange’s squad…
Jota
Giakoumakis
Juranovic
Jenz
Starfelt
Mooy
Abada
Turnbull
Then there was the players that finished last season unfit…
CCV
A-J
Hatate
McGregor???
Now that’s quite a dent in a squad, that most thought was lacking a bit especially for UCL football, yet BR got pelters for giving James Forrest an extended contract.
There is an argument that states, we have not signed a decent first team starter in two and a half seasons.
Of the players featured today only Palma, Kuhn and Idah (loan), were signed within that period and although hope springs eternal, there is an argument that they are not the quality of first team starters, certainly not yet.
Whatever the reasons, and surely the blame game can be put on hiatus until after May 25th, the Ange – BR transition left a lot to be desired.
So, we are where we are and enjoying the ups and downs of the rolla’ coasta’ runin’ is where we are…
We are still seeing some grand football from the team, yet only a couple of standouts from yesterday’s game…
My third choice is the rock of the team, not one of his better performances, yet barring any other standouts he gets it just for being there.
Watched the game in a bar in Majorca with some fellow cycling Tim’s yesterday ..not a classic but the points in the bag that’s all that matters ..pity about conceding that goal ..as would have been good to increase goal diff to 6 🤔
I’ve completed 2 routes to Santiago de Compostela. From Ferrol in the north and from the Portuguese border. Both over 100k and 4 1/2 days walking. Both in early October – luckily the weather was fine and dry on both occasions.
I trained for over 6 months before the first one – 3 times a week building up to 10 miles over the Peak District. Would then do 15 miles on the odd occasion.
As kelvinbhoy posted get your footwear sorted – I trained in 2 pairs – one pair for wet (Keene) and one for dry (Skechers).
In the event I only took the Skechers after looking at the weather forecast
Moreno wool socks are good idea and an inner liner if you want.
I used to train with my backpack with about 5kg weight. On the pilgrimage my pack weighed about 7 kg.
Our Parish priest organised everything (Spanish speaker). So it was definitely a religious pilgrimage with Mass at the end of each day. Luckily he likes his food and wine 😉
What route are you doing
Hope the above was helpful and good luck

In 97 /98 we had just built a stadium and were getting a bit of normality back after a tumultuous few years on and off the park. We triumphed against the odds.
In 2023 /24 we are cash rich, highest ever paid manager, World class training facilities and a hand picked squad from all over the world.
The odds are forever in our favour.
In my humble opinion of course

When Maeda returns JF will switch over to the right wing meaning we’ll finish the season with Scales being the only player not to feature under Ange.
I RESPECT any ones reason(s) for considering giving up their season book at Celtic Park. I understand that you may not be too happy at the moment, but can I ask you ” WHERE” in Celtic Park is your seat ?
I will ask you to consider that YOU continue with your season book, but would you be willing to give ME your season book, and each time that the ” Renewal” is due I will pay you the Cost of the Season Book in CASH ?
Obviously, the season book will continue to be in YOUR Name and Address etc for however how long we continue with this ” Arrangement” ?
Because I cant walk too far or climb many stairs etc, I would PREFER IF your season seat was in the MAIN STAND, but if it is NOT….I MAY consider an alternative seat elsewhere in the stadium, but it really DEPENDS on ” WHERE” your current seat is located ?
Can I make it clearer that it was the poster on Sentinel Celts who came up with the comparison with our form in 97/98 and that he was not commenting on backroom finances, just our form against other teams.

Just watching the highlights of yesterdays game again…
Still getting caught out with far too many balls at the back post, don’t really know what our defenders do at training all week but it’s obviously nothing to do with defending back post ! Will we never learn !
The concept of irony is too mild to cope with the sheer offence of you calling BSR a sleekit. Coming from a multi-monikered unwelcome visitor to our site, the correct term to use is not irony but sheer bloody hypocrisy.
P.S. Tony Docherty is too good a coach to be your new Mark McGhee, but could I suggest that Tom English is perhaps, spineless and conflicted enough to be your new Gerry McNee/ Shuggie Keevins

I think the team is out of balance. Two players returning from injury, the other one dancing around on the periphery of the game, when he should be doing much more. That’s our midfield. Is it any wonder we are stuttering?.Iwata improved the midfield when he came on.Steady, not rushed.Shocked to see some putting Scales in their top 3.Every fiasco in defence,he was involved.CCV does not pair up well with him.Again,balance.
For Brendan,MOR seems undroppable.Should not be so.

Yes, thought our midfield was very poor yesterday, no aggression or dig and couldn’t keep the ball .
Definitely better when Iwata came on ..

I also thought we showed little aggression yesterday.
Subsequently I was soooooo glad to see our joyous celebrations at the end of the game. It showed we really wanted it despite some lacklustre performances.

I wonder how many of the remaining Celtic Games ( including the Cup Final) that JOHN BEATON will be the Referee ?
Wee JAMESIE was Great yesterday…just like last week in the Cup Semi Final.
The Prestwick Bhoy has surely shown that he should be FIRST CHOICE winger at least for the remaining games ?

One down. (football matches that is)
The team just need to rest up, prep, go again and win the next one.
Any kind of victory over Hearts will do.
We know this is the last time this season they’ll bust a gut.
After playing Celtic …. their minds and hearts will go on holiday.
Next week is the only set of post-split fixtures when we play first (Sly Sports influence)
Massive incentive for us to go six clear and apply some pressure.
