    i do not envy the job our next manager has

     

     

    we need to sign a load of players just to have a decent squad let alone a quality first choice 11

     

     

    doesnt look like theres anything coming through from the youths to help out

     

     

    whoever said on here earlier about only keeping soro and turnbull had a point

    I think the right new manager will raise the standards pretty quickly. I think the players will respond. Thankfully some of those who look beyond redemption are loanees – Duffy, Laxalt and Moi and should be easily moved on.

     

     

    Not suggesting it’s easy but I think it’s the key to unlocking this mess. I’m hopeful.

    On one of other blogs someone explained why it was only 13 players isolating, apparently the training was split into separate contained groups. If true then someone in management thought it was ok for all the senior forwards to be in one😱😵😯

    The young lads that took the field today should have been more of a match for Livvy. No doubt some of them gave it their all but how many would actually be in the plans of a future Celtic manager and coaching team? Who would you keep?

     

     

    Amongst the seasoned pros today we have the captain of the Irish national team looking like a carthorse with poor positional play and terrible decision making, a Uruguayan International who more then not passes to the opposition and also lacks any positional sense, an Israeli international who strolls about looking for inspiration, I could go on.

    is your point that the board sanctioned some sort of kamikaze mission for the team that they werent prepared to go on themself?

     

     

    i doubt they went last year either

     

     

    but as was said on here during the week – given the chance to go on a private jet to dubai with your own bubble i think a huge percentage of folk would gladly have taken their family to a safer place than the uk in those circumstances

     

     

    had the only outcome been julien isolating for 2 weeks we wouldnt be greeting about it

     

     

    its because the other 12 also have to isolate that is the issue cos we now have a shiter starting 11 than we should have

     

     

    we bleat all the time about politicians and the media throwing squirrels in to deflect things

     

     

    i think a load of our fans are just as bad

    Soro is the only player in the team who actually looks for the ball. The rest seem to take the ball under protest. We need players of old, players like Soro, players with a bit of swagger.

     

    Players who believe in themselves. They seem to be short in supply at the moment

    Rogic is of no value to us whatsoever and was again occupying the position our best player should have been in. His first touch of the day was a ball into feet from Ralston. It must have gone five yards away from him.

     

    He should be away because we have better players to play his position.

    With 30-40 seconds left to go, Bitton twice had the ball in the centre of the park and, with no one close to him, he played it sideways. EVERYONE is expecting a punt up into the box, a last gasp cavalry charge. It is Livingston at home, not Barcelona away.

     

    No guts.

     

    No glory.

     

     

    Each week that passes makes me wonder if Paul was given a nod and a wink that we were going to chuck the league. He opinionated that things were about to get a lot worse at a time when I thought we were already at the bottom of the barrel.

    we are also missing jimmy mcgrory to grab us a few goals but we should have the necessary things in place to mitigate these issues

    The best we can hope for now is that the season is called early.

     

     

    Alert to this possibility Celtic seem to be doing their best to ensure that there’s enough of a gap at the top for the title to be awarded.
