    Yep,definitely something wonderful.

I’ll whistle a happy tune on the strength of it at work tonight.

    ……..

You should have said, I usually get a stream but there’s a few things going on here.

The Live games available are normally Celtic or a shit team from a lower league, Celtic had a chance of going top tonight but no TV company was interested.

The main point is why don’t CFC rise above this stupid rule that Celts in Ireland, England and Wales can’t watch live games?

I live in England and I’ll pay £50/ month, sort it Celtic.

We need a very poor sky/ SPL TV contract like a hole in the head.

Bawsman apologies for the ramble but text me next time for a free stream.

Fair comment, but I did not like the support he got from that spanish asshole, who supported him to the hilt. I really have had enough. Cheers my friend and thanks for the great conversations we’ve had the past few years. KTF.

  4. I want Celtic to be careful with Lustig. We have seen it before.Never mind a run in the first team.30 minutes on Saturday will be fine.Another weeks training then another 30 mins against the Huns.Nice and easy.Mathews is no slouch.

So you didn’t want the new son in law seeing doc at CQN corner and being undermined by his sheer timmish gorgeousness.

Not with the support he’s had. See you at CP soon buddy. Not that we’ll see these assholes. :-))).

  9. Just back from an increasingly cold CP- thanks to TBB for the tickets.

Wonderful tribute to Kano and well done to Sannabhoy for a very moving and clear delivery of the message at half time.

I think we have been a slicker outfit for a few games now but the opening 15 minutes tonight were close to one touch and move it on. Even Kris Commons did not slow the game down. The tempo at the front was set by the very hard working Leigh Griffiths and the tempo at the back was set by Jason Denayer who is a perfect foil for VVD’s more laid back approach to snuffing out threats. We are going to miss Jason if he goes, as we expect, at the end of the season.

Playing one touch means moves will break down but we were winning the ball back very quickly and going again. Once we were 2:0 up the tempo dropped but we scored 4 going on 10.

The favourite scapegoat around me tonight seemed to be Antony Stokes but he had the bravery to put in a very good cross for the opener immediately after having messed up his previous cross.

I heard RD’s post-match interview and again I am impressed with his analysis. He basically said we are improving but we won’t know how good we are until we face better teams, meanwhile 4:0 is good.

We haven’t turned a corner and there will still be setbacks and poor performances but there is a lot of good things improving.

A perfect Kano Night with a thumping of the Well and an encouraging win for the Development Squad.

  11. BMCUWP’s, or his blessing, depends on how they behave, and I feel!

    I have three of them.

An 18yo and twins at 12, almost 13.

One day bliss, the next 20 a nightmare.

    JamesGang, you know the score:-)

  12. Just back from the game. Flying tonight. Izzy back to top form and big Biton was excellent. Denayer and vvd are different class.

Barca, whom I love dearly, are in danger of crashing to a standstill, caught between what they engender and what they buy, sullied by (IMHO) the Neymar signing. Tied to the weight of the most mercurial player the world might ever have seen. A caged bird is Messi. A beautiful, captivating bird. Yet…

It is only a matter of minutes until Messi is no more… Football wise… Nothing stays the same.

It’s why money has hurt the game so.

Clubs should be rich for the right reasons, not the wrong ones.

Hailing from Manchester means the only way to watch a home game is a dodgy sausage. It may be a UEFA ruling (might’ve made that up) but if so it’s stone cold wrong.

    I will try again

Have you read my posts at 22.01 and 22.09

    Please do

As for back up? I am baffled

Look I really think you have got this all wrong. This should be a happy night for all

Now I think I will go back to reading my book. A fictionalised biography of Roger casement by mario vargos llosa, it’s called the dream of the celt and on the blurb of the inside cover it says” ultimately a eulogy to those who dare to dream of a better world” and it’s a bloody good book and you weefra seem like a bloody good bloke with whom I would rather not fall out.

Charles Green will sort you out with another 5 when he gets out of the ‘ospital. He knows a man who knows a man etc.

If that doesn’t work, he will get some ordinary rhinos, change their name to ‘The White Rhino”, buy the history of the extinct species and so the gene pool will continue and everyone is happy.

    No?

  19. Good performance against probably the worst team we’ve played this season. Great to see Lustig and Forrest back, two of our best players who have been missed for most of the season.

We can now sit back and watch Aberdeen’s bottle crash at Perth on Friday night and then watch us move 4 clear with a game in hand on Saturday lunchtime.

A great post as you were setting off, showed my daughter it and she was in hysterics with your grandsons antics.

You’re only young once, enjoy your retirement mate. Hail Hail

  25. What is the Stars on

    Stringer

Yes I am really enjoying it. Shows how he went from upper class Anglo irish prod who was British consul to the Belgium Congo and was horrified by the way the native congolese were abused, this set him against the whole concept of colonialism and he suddenly awoke to the fact that he was from a colonised race

  26. Its difficult to judge a player until he gets a run of games in the team but Scepovic looks like another Harald Brattbakk to me. Good player playing with the wrong team. He looks like he’d thrive on through passes from the midfield but none of our midfielders play the type of ball he needs. They are either trying to shoot (Commons), play a square pass (Bitton) or run into players and lose possession (Brown & Johansen).

  27. Defensively, Lustig is the best right back we have, and when fully fit should be our first choice right back.

That said, I like Matthews and think he has much to offer..

Given the inevitable injuries James Forrest will incur…. My shout is to play Matthews wide right, with Lustig at full-back

It wis the Clancy brothers in the early 60s, that introduced me to the Holy Ground, Fine Ghirl Yea Are, no offence I hope.
