  1. the glorious balance sheet on

Good to be back on top of the league.

Lustig, when fit, is a fantastic player. Hope he stays fit, I`d like to see him slaying some Zombies, and I think he could be a big player v Inter Milan.

Happy with the performance, should have scored more

though, think LG has done enough to convince RD that

he is our main striker, still want one in mind you, well done

to all who turned up on a bitterly cold night.

Once again the cones where out westbound on the M8

when Celtic where at home, that roadworks dept must be

full of dobs,no doubt they’ll be planning a spectacular the

    night we play Inter.

Early rise so I’ll bid you all goodnight.

Swift exit down slippy Springy Rd with ole Jensen EuroChamps67.

As wide a margin between these clubs can never have been so apparent taking into account both downsizing and Armageddon.

Celtic and RD nauseated MSM portals with a swift bad weather free return to the top of the table, and a romp against Motherwell which could have ended, at seven or eight nil.

Playing with everyone as a potential goalscorer crushed Motherwell whose lone gunman John Sutton may not have touched the ball? In a game that saw Mikael Lustig and James Forrest on the same pitch at the same time, Celtic contrived to hit wood at least three times with Izzaguire even popping up at centre forward, following Stefan Johansen’s exit due to a head knock.

Denayer repeated Saturday’s old head on young shoulders in partnership with VVD and both were happy to play as a duo in a back two shepherded by Biton playing on his heels when rarely needed.

Transplant twins Stokes and Griffiths ‘bobbed and weaved’ and the game was a formality as Celtic’s much maligned squad moved to the summit, when Leigh nodded in, to double the lead established by VVD.

But it was returning hero Mikael Lustig who stole the show rattling the bar to prevent his hat trick just after his Swedish Larssonesque diving header, and tidy left foot finish.

I thought Biton was well composed the whole game….just that Lustig stole his thunder :p

Like you, I missed out big time also. A pity life dictates these things. Fortunately, mrsweefra found a brilliant stream and I watched the whole game uninterupted. Not allowed to publish the stream, as Paul67 correctly forbids it.

  7. Just back from a very enjoyable match at Celtic park it could and probably should have been a lot more but i woulf have took any win before the game so to put in a good entertaining performance with some great goals was a bonus.

  8. Ok so. Rush in from work. Throw the dinner onto the table. Jump in the car, dump it and run up the road to CP. Get to the corner, see the CQN huddles and make my way over. Stand for a minute. Then bottle it. What a wuss. Must do better next time!!!

Re Biton I took note how he handled himself regarding being easily pushed off the ball, as some have stated recently, and was very impressed how he stood firm, and his general play was outstanding ,like a few others.

A minutes applause was observed impeccably by 20 odd people in a pub in Wimbledon.

God bless Kano and his family.

Just in from the game. What a night and what a superb performance. Four goals and three efforts coming back off the woodwork. Delighted for Mikael Lustig, a tremendous player for us. Two goals and very unlucky not to complete his contract. Lots of great performances and we’re top of the League.

Goodnight from a very happy SadiesBhoy

A very enjoyable night, Bitton, Izzy, Denayer and Lustig looked great, but a wee special mention to Griff who made a bit of a rick when he faffed about right in front of the dugout, Deila laid into him, Griff’s reaction was superb, it seemed to fire him up and his performance went up a notch for the rest of the game. Great attitude.

  20. There are three players in our team who cannot be transferred

Johansen ……work horse, powerful and smart

Izzy………fast, loves the game, and skilful

Lustig…….talented boy who always looks like he loves to play for Celtic

    Just my opinion
