I stand corrected on the timing of the Roy Aitken red card. Maybe he was given an early yellow and that’s what stuck in my admittedly dodgy memory!
When players like Sinclair are heavily marked there are a couple of things happening that people don’t always appreciate.
His very presence is stopping at least two or three opposing players from playing their own game. They are always mindful of not being too far away from him in case we break. That changes their game plan and shape.
Secondly it’s making other players on our team step up.
That said I thought he had a good game mostly. They couldn’t get the ball off him in the first half. Couple of poor touches in the second. But he’s played almost every minute of every game this season. That in itself is incredible considering the running he does.
And just for larks – which player in the Sevco team makes us change our game plan all by himself? Kenny miller? Joe garner? Martyn ‘I can’t believe I’m getting paid to do this’ waghorn?

We played well today — SB, CMcG, PR the stand outs and MD unlucky to pick up an injury after a very positive start.
However we still have a bit of work to do to increase the focus and energy at times.
We telegraph it when we are a bit off the pace and the efforts to get back up to speed need working on — less today than in previous games but it will cost us eventually.
ScS should never have been given the penalty — a better GK would have kept it out.
Also ML needs a rest and some counselling — he was very poor at times and kept putting himself and others under pressure.
The Ludge MIB will turn their bias up to 11 next week.
Our penalty today guarantees they will get one next week.
Didn’t watch the game just kept an eye on the updates (thanks for those who posted them) Just seen the sky and BBC highlights looked very comfortable and composed.

Delighted at both performance and result today . If Scott Brown misses next week , others in the team or squad will step up to the plate . We have players who are more than capable of standing up for themselves . No better time or place than at s##t hole .
the only logic i can find to what they were like in the first half is-
pedro thought the last ten minutes of the game at cp was a reflection of how the two teams are and carried away with a couple of wins since
he thought they would press us into our half and stop us building from the back
they’d get the ball back and get it up to the front for lightning attacks
unfortunately we passed the $&it out of them and moved quickly into space where we passed it again
he now knows the only chance they have is to park a bus on the 18 yard, park two buses on ss and hope we switch off or they get an honest mistake
