I couldnt help recall my introductory years watching Celric. Around 62-3-4 we took regular beatings but refs aside, this was a from a non tax avoiding Hun team filled with the likes of Baxter, Brand and Forrest.
The sick feeling i had at.8 or 9, i vividly remember.
Anyway it goes without saying that that mob will be experiencing the same tonight, pounding after doing, but with no end in sight.
Big difference for me…by aged 12 Celtic were the best team in Europe.

The main national news outlets who don’t seem to place great store on today’s result, I don’t think that they’re deliberately swerving today’s game, its more a case of, seeing Scottish football as the one horse backwater that it has become. That isny a cheap grenade from me, personally, I could watch Celtic cuffing the huns, no matter what their called, every day of the week, but, the huns sins will never be forgiven, never.
My concern, if you like, whether you like this or not, is that, when the four back to back trebles are hopefully achieved, in the ten in a row season, is, who will we achieve this, major achievement against ?
Will there still be a team playing out of ibrokes ?
If there is, will they be reformed and playing in the lower leagues, having started again ?
Or, will Celtic PLC do a behind the scenes deal, that sweeps all regulation from ibrokes under the carpet, just to keep some form of Rangers / Sevco / Whoever??? in the same league as Celtic, in an attempt to stop Celtic Park from falling half empty again, like it did when RD was our manager ?
Interesting times ahead.
Oh, and if you don’t think apathy is already here, a Celtic team, cuffing the huns 4-0 in a semi final, and, ynwa sounded like a half hearted chore!

The only hun I would sign for our squad is Ross McCrorie. Poor lad was playing 4 positions today, whilst being bullied senseless by Moussa. Think he would be a good player with Brendan Rodger’s coaching.
Tavernier? Aye , just for a laugh in a Scott Allen style. Just chilling till the BBC highlights come on or the Sevco TV commentary. Quite obvious that Murty will be flung in the skip this week,then Uncle Jimmy can rally the untermensch to kick the shit out of us in two weeks time, launch the Orange Strip and all good s good in the 17th century again. I get your angst, and agree that to effect real change you need to “empty the park”. However, there are lots of ways to skin a cat and today was one of the most brutal.
Where do they go from here? I’d suggest that today almost sealed 10-in-a-row. Hard to see how they can recover from that.
