    Long time since I laughed so much at big game mostly down to them realising just how far ahead we really are. Superb performance from beginning to end today with MoMs in every department.

     

     

    Watching Tom Rogic today reminded me of Zidane in his pomp – gliding past players, pirouetting like a ballet dancer and hurdling tackles like the thoroughbred he undoubtedly is. Signing up Edouard and Tom would be like – well – new signings. How much would it cost to buy replacements of their quality ?

     

     

    Thank you Celtic – I’ll be sooking lemons for days to politely keep the smile off my face !

    a quick survey of rangers youtubers shows some very hurt and upset people (the rangers fan channel, cjnovo8992) but ultimately very honest football fans – is there any chance that these people could lead their community and make a sustainable club out of them – nope, of course not.

    Today was Brendan’s 90th domestic fixture and 5th trophy. His record ..

     

     

    Won – 74 – Drawn – 13 – Lost – 3

     

     

    That’s 2 more trophies than defeats !!

    I was in my seat at 1045…I’m a stickler for punctuality. A wee Sevconian arrived in their end at 11am and to my great amusement walked up and down and all around their end waving his oversized union flag…some effort. A polis finally had a word after about half an hour of his re-enactment of ‘last night of the proms.’ He was raging.

     

     

    He didn’t say till the end, disappointing.

    Today was as close to a footballing massacre as you could find and I take no pleasure in seeing sportsmen being humiliated as they were today. If you want to embarrass and humiliate people you are supporting the wrong team. Hh

    Someone at the venue said, been a bit of bother already mate, fans ran in from outside, in the players faces. Threw a flash bang in, it’s a toxic atmosphere players look terrified.

    In every senior game opposition players get abused by fans; it’s part of the tribal nature of the game.

     

     

    It happens in most sports. IMHO.

     

     

    As far as humiliation goes, the Celtic team humiliated them today (and have done so many times during the 30-6 aggregate over the last 2 seasons). Halliday is a fan who lived the nightmaredream of playing for his boyhood heros. Not many get to do that and he earned some respect for his actions after the game. Morelos is a blowhard who set himself up for deserved abuse after vowing to score against us.

     

     

    They get paid thousands a week for the opportunity to get humiliated so I can’t get too worked up about it!
