ODSONNE EDOUARD achieved something inside two minutes that has eluded James Forrest throughout his career – score a goal against Sevco Rangers!
The French striker managed the feat at Ibrox last month when he came on as a 67th-minute substitute for the Scotland winger with the game poised at 2-2.
Edouard picked up a pass from his countryman Moussa Dembele before curling the winner beyond Wes Foderingham.
* BRENDAN RODGERS has watched his Celtic team hammer in 25 goals in his 10 Glasgow derbies.
Top scorer is Dembele with seven. Other marksmen are: Scott Sinclair (4), Tom Rogic (3), Callum McGregor (3), Leigh Griffiths (2), Stuart Armstrong (2), Dedryck Boyata, Mikael Lustig, Odsonne Edouard and Olivier Ntcham.
* TOM ROGIC has scored four goals against the Govan outfit – all away from home. The Aussie midfielder claimed his first in the 2-2 Scottish Cup semi-final draw on April 17 2016. He missed a crucial penalty-kick as the Ibrox men won 5-4 in the shoot-out.
However, the playmaker got the opener in the 2-0 win at Ibrox on September 23 this season, added another in the 3-2 win last month and slotted in the opener in the 4-0 semi-final success at Hampden a fortnight ago.
