  1. For all you apologists for the GB, Celtic did not ban any member of the said group from attending the match at Celtic Park tonight, Celtic as is well within their right closed a section of the stadium. Celtic did not enforce any sort of ban on fans from that section purchasing tickets for elsewhere in the stadium, there was a general sale of tickets advertised on the Celtic website on the days leading up to the game likewise there are still tickets available to purchase from the website for the Hearts game throughout the stadium

    Rosenborg will change tactics because

    they are at home

they have scored an average of 2 goals per game this season

Because they concede close to one goal per game on average.

Because 0:0 does not suit them

Because they will calculate theuy need to score 2, at least

Because they are in front of their own home fans who will expect them to kick on agaisnt a team that did not hurt them in the away leg.

I thought the ref was decent tonight. A lot better than the clown we had in Belfast.

The Brown tackle was a shocker that he missed but other than that he had no major errors and in general let the game flow. He was a million miles better than the usual idiots we get in the SPFL.

Armstrong’s heads gone already ahead of the move. If BR can talk some sense into him he could still do a job next week.

  5. !!Bada Bing!! on

G67- McGregor ahead of Ntcham next week, keep Armstrong in, get Rogic in MF, hope Broony makes it, stick to tried and trusted in MF

Watch the two games v Dundalk. Home and away, they played the same tactics.

It was interesting that the Aberdeen Manager said after their

recent european tie that he had got it wrong, and said they were

one game short in their pre-season preparation before Europe.

However they were much better and sharper in their second leg ..

The quality of Linfield and moving that game to the Friday,

meant the benefit of having the Lyon game was lost ..

Had our first team played against Lyon for 90 mins, and with

their quality, we may well have been a bit shaper tonight ..

Hopefully we’ll win our away leg the same as the Dons did ..

Ntcham was a lot better than Armstrong tonight. He is still trying to get his fitness up to the rest but I’d stick with him next week with McGregor beside him.

Maybe just me but if players want to leave then don’t play them, they never produce their best.

Maybe I’ve been watching Collum and Thomson for too long!! ;-)

    FRED C. DOBBS…

Apologies for any offence,my stance was a bit aggressive, sorry.

Thought tonight’s performance was dull and predictable, got under my skin for some reason.Anywho,it’s not your fault and I was out of order.

Can’t believe I still get like this over a game.

Score away next week and we’ll go through.

  11. Surely Hayes must start before Forrest next week. The worst performer in a team of poor performers tonight.

  12. I think that is the worst performance from the team since BR arrived . We were very poor . And by God how we missed the wee magician on the wing . Although I’m not a great fan of McGregor , I think he would have done a job for us tonight , one thing though , I can’t see Mikel , broony , Rogic , Kt. Scot Sinclair , playing as badly next time . And I wouldn’t drop ntcham .to keep Armstrong in the team , a one season wonder and he,s to big for the celtic . Thanks but ta ta .

  13. BABASONICOS71,

No offence taken. Know what you mean 100%. It was frustrating (to say the least).

Agree on next week. We are much better than tonights showing…too many things out of whack.

    Hail Hail.

  15. Decided to buy 2 new scarves for me and Aidan @ the Lyon game.

We went to the Lyon game and it was a training exercise tbh. High skilled obviously.

Aidan went with his wee Brother Dominic to watch Linfield get toyed with. It should have been a lot more than 4.

Seems a bit steep to send Aidan and Dominic over to Norway to ensure a Win.

I’m thinking of bringing out the olde Scarves….. I won’t be able to, because I will be @ Work.

Lustig just disnae dae it for me anymore.

    Broonie definitely peaked last Season.

Ajer was impressive for a kid playing @ that level without really ever playing with the players under Pressure. He done well.

A lot of Chemistry was missing. Mixed messages.

Tom is a Genius but when he is knackered you cannae do the hardcore pressing of the other team. He is behind that front 3 and tonight…. I’d have taken him off.

Brendan is the Genius… Not me and he is making sure Tom is in tip top condition for getting Tom into the best of shape for next week. :)

    Hard Shift for Young Tom.

Scott Sinclair done incredible running to close down so much in that 2nd half. Incredible Energy.

  16. There are people on here who are Celtic supporters and yet know nothing about football! Thank God that Brendan is our manager.

  17. a light insanity on

The criticism of Brown is a bit harsh. I never saw a move where he wasn’t involved. He tried to take pressure off Ajer too by being available at all times. Like to see his stats in comparison to the usual. Calum Mc would have also been better option.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Looks to me like Oli has a lot more strings to his bow when it comes to the Creative side. He played everything well 1st half. He is just in the Tony Yeboah, Let him settle.

I’m very Surprised after reading all the Internet stuff about Armstrong that Armstrong would even Contemplate Leaving Celtic.

The Support know what he can do. He is outie.

    Messi getting a £1m a week.

I’m hoping he is just going to help as many people as possible with the Cash. He Won’t let anyone know if he does do that. He Passed through Parkhead Gates.

  19. a light insanity,

I said to an incredible workm8 that Broonie will have his load lightened this Season.

You read all the jibber jabber from players…. They complain about the recovery period.

    We are in Good Hands.

  20. INVINCIBLE ‘GG on 27th July 2017 12:33 am

On reflection, I saw nothing in Rosenborg that would cause me to be concerned about the return next Wednesday.

Neat, well organized, particularly in defence, breaking quickly from defence but toothless up front.

We need to be quicker in thought and action especially in and around their box.

I’m sure Brendan reads the site and will be taking all our tactical advice to heart.

    Aye right.

    …………………………………..

    Killer Comment.

    :))

    WE have a LEADER.

    Mr Brightside.

I always thought Mr Handyside was a wee bit odd @ St Pats. I wish I’d listened to his Music teaching lessons. Football nothing else for me then.

  21. Obviously a hard Time for All @ the mo.

The Lack of non rebel songs Tonight won’t mean Celtic won’t fight this Corruption.

    I know I’m not the rest of Scotland’s representative….

But hoping TF that you boys do it next week.

    That’s it.

    MickBhoy

Why should a season ticket holder in standing section, who is not a Green Brigade member, pay for a ticket for Hearts game when they’ve already paid for it in their season ticket??

Celtic have messed this up because not all standing section are GB members

  24. I’m with KevJ – Celtic songs only.

Those over in the Emerald Isle want to be able to live Peacefully.

So Celtic drew 0-0 with Rosenborg @ home.

    The Norwegians will fancy it.

Celtic should have lost @ least 2 goals last night.

    There is Something about Brendan.

    He is a Beezer.CSC
