  1. Harry Kane would make a top class midfield player, as well as a world class striker. His movement, instant control, vision, sense of where Son is, and pinpoint accurate, perfectly weighted long pass to Son were all superb.

West Ham pull one back, now down 2-1. Good game.

  2. OMG,I’m just realising the sevco player is in white, what in God’s name is the reason for the penalty then. That means that a player is not allowed to stand next to a sevco player whilst the game is in play.

    Absolutely incredible.

It wouldn’t be allowed to happen in any other league in the world.

  3. Just watched penalty given to sevco ,doesn’t surprise me .

The difference between us and them is that they are happy to win by cheating it’s in their DNA.

  4. AN TEARMANN @ 3:58 PM,

God bless your uncle Frank, may he rip,

Many thanks, what a great photo that is – encaptures his dynamism and passion…

    Some man, sadly missed…

    Hail Hail

Was totally unaware about your previous post Gordon Dalziel was at the funeral and couldn’t speak highly enough of Frank Connor on SSB… and also Mark Wilson couldn’t speak highly enough of Frank as well

Hope all is good as it can be in the Chilterns

  6. I had a very close pal who played at Raith Rovers when Frank Connor was the manager .

Jimmy Nichol replaced Frank Connor and inherited the bones of a very good squad ,that Frank Connor built.

Frank Connor laid the foundations of the team that beat us in the 1994 Coca Cola ,cup final.

Sean Dennis ,Jock McStay ,Peter Hetherston ,Ian Ferguson .

All can’t speak highly enough of Frank Connor .

Ferguson wrote recently that Frank Connor was the most direct honest man ,that had ever met.

    Old school ,truth,honesty,and integrity.

Frank Connor was never given the opportunity or praise that he was due from within the top level of Scottish football.

    RIP Frank .

  7. GFTB @ 5:41 PM, TINYTIM @ 5:42 PM,

That’s great to hear, he really was a special person that touched so many lives in a positive way.

What you say TinyTim really does encapsulate him, a real values man – I like to think they’re still about but he really did come from a different era.

All good in the Chilterns GFTB – not been on much and of course the sad realities of life hit us all, that aside I’m having a grand year.

Good to see you posting and on such good form.

    Hail Hail

  8. Marspapa – 2 vital home games coming up this week – 2 wins will put us in a playoff position. But there are 10 league games to go so plenty of time for things to change – think we’ll avoid relegation into the national League.

I feel like a new poster … I still love Neil Lennon and not one thing in this lifetime will ever change that

In my opinion Covid changed the landscape and saved Gerrard and cost Neil his job … but when families are losing loved ones who cares about football

Gordon Dalziel said on SSB that Frank Connor was so influential for him and his words “more or less changed my life for the better” …

Am a changed Bhoy these days … a few months away from the internet gives a wee bit of perspective .. we should enjoy Celtic as we live in terrific Celtic times

Again for a bit of perspective I thought Ange was going to be a disaster …. So delighted to wrong … 🍀

  10. GENE

Great they are in a position to have a go / a chance , I’m sure earlier in the season it didn’t look favourable at all …fingers crossed for both of your teams…😊👍🟩⬜🟨

  11. Marspapa.

We were in the top 2 then had 7 draws after Christmas which took us right back. Onwards and upwards

  12. park the bus 442 on

No luck for Mark McGhee and his Dundee players today – gallant effort 👏

What is that 7 or 8 games before MM was allowed to do his job from the dug out??

Rules are rules, when it suits.

Having said that, the oldfirm have now twice 2wice just, and no more, merely struggled past MM’s relegation battlers. Celtic scraped past Dundee at Parkhead a few weeks ago, G-Mac scoring the winner for us with just a few minutes to go, then the huns today.

The huns horsed Dundee in the Scottish Cup last week 0-3.

MM was ( sidelined ) for that SC tie.

MM tested positive for the ( virus ) with testing equipment which has proven to be majority ( fake results ) and 100% of the fake news media spin those lies ( religiously ) who’s religion teaches their ( congregation ) to lie?? To lie about everything?? And if you question those lies then you get cancelled, sacked, evicted, etc??

The Last American Vagabond – reported that “Scotland had withdrawn their ( virus infected ) figures whilst every other countries ( true ) figures were freely available??

    Why the deceit??

Then a huge rise in cases from the same dodgy testing equipment??

Ah mean, if you play along with this guff, from expertly trained guffsters, then that is your fault.

Your fault – no one else’s.

If you are indoctrinated by media liars – then that is your fault.

Your fault – no one else’s.

If you try to dictate your indoctrinated media lies to others, and then claim that those who’ve been ( othered ) by yourself, and more easily cowed minds like yours, then expect resistance.

Resistance to liars and their indoctrinated mind set traps.

If you don’t get that there is a global poisonous web in place, a dragnet to smear, and trap, and intimidate, citizens into being indoctrinated, then attacking those who stand their ground and resist, then you are a huge part of this fictional movie that has been playing out since the last ( thorn ) in the Establishment’s side was removed, in early 2020 after a rigged UK GE – Jeremy Corbyn was removed from the privy council as opposition leader at Westminster, its since ( then ) that all the pawns were in place, all the puppet political leaders were in place to push all of the lie packed bull that we’ve had to endure for 2+ years, if you don’t understand where we are at, well good luck. 🍀

Bringing it to a local level, the only football team in the whole world, probably, to ( not ) be effected by the virus palaver, Rangers FC, were helped last week, ( again ) when Dundee manager Mark McGhee tested positive for the fake palaver, and was then prohibited from managing his team in last weeks SC tie, versus Rangers FC, imagine that??

Only, Jim Goodwin has shown resistance to this guff palaver when he stood his ground and spoke up for St Mirren fans, saying “Football fans shouldn’t be required to show medical papers to get into a football stadium to see their team” no other manager lifted their head above the parapet. NONE.

    Take care.

Its time to watch the biggest political show on earth.

7:00PM every Sunday evening, ( THE MOTHER OF ALL TALK SHOWS ) 1.2 million people tune into hear the truth’s the media-news will never tell you about, they want you to believe their media-news lies.

George Galloway and a host of other cage rattlers.

    Good evening all from Ruglen.

    ———————————-

    You in the QUARRY BAR..😀😀😀….

  14. Covid cost Lennon his job.

    I’ve heard it all now.

let’s see how long he lasts in Cyprus

  15. Chris Sutton says: “No-one in their right mind would have predicted Celtic would be in this position back in September”.

How right he is. After our worst start to a league campaign for many a year off the back of an horrendous 10iar season, with a new squad to build and a bunch of “duds” unable to be shifted; what Ange has put together is truly remarkable.

We are far from the finished article as Bodo clearly highlighted, and have had more than a few turgid performances domestically; however if this ‘work in progress’ squad can win the title, and who knows the treble, then we will have much to anticipate next season.

Yesterday showed a team wlth confidence surging through it – a group who have now ‘got the hang of it’ – a squad free of injury worries who are coming good just at the right time.

It has been a roller-coaster nine months – the next two can make it a memorable season.

Thanks to Ange, his backroom staff, the players, and also to the board for such an inspired appointment.

I probably shouldn’t respond but on the 13th March 2020 my daughter made her confirmation.. I know you go to a lot of games and by your posts don’t enjoy any part of Celtic … Hamilton had just beaten the Huns at Ibrox and we were going to play them with Edouard & Griffiths absolutely flying….. you don’t seem to like Neil or even Celtic … enjoy your own wee unhappy bubble but in my opinion your are the complete opposite of any Celtic fan I have ever encountered

Neil Lennon has brought more trophies and great times to my team … you might have a different view an just glad I don’t have one thing in common with yourself

  19. Gene 6.50pm

Am afraid not a new poster, you might remember me as Gerryfaethebrig… had a wee sabbatical it’s refreshing :-)

  21. Talking of James , his ashes are being interred in my mum and dad’s grave on Friday – so a visit to East Kilbride for me. If only the Bhoys were at home. Bloody international breaks.

  22. GENE

You may have known the McGrath family , about 11 of them . Gerry and JOE stayed in the Quarryknowe scheme .

Old Mrs McGrath seen off about 7 of her kids.

  24. GFTB @ 6:43 PM,
