Better that way, I can’t be arsed any more with you lot, big pistol Pete sorted the lot of you out, left everyone of you with egg on your faces, as I predicted a few years ago he would, when I was bullying probably about what 20/30 malcontents on here, and all on my own to eh? Bobby: There are lots of rivalries in Gaelic football and hurling, all based on county loyalties.

Both are great games, still amateur in status and are very physical.

Hurling is especially skilful but the football is very exciting also.

    Off to Croke Park now.

  3. Scullybhoy, I agree but Kerry are unbeatable. That Clifford guy is unreal. I have followed Gaelic Games for over 60 years and have never seen a kid as good as him.

What, you missed a number of posts that screw up your theory about people being haters?

My arse. As usual, you only discuss the selective points that back your narrow-minded view.

Here’s a wee question for you. I’ve praised PL when he deserves it.

When have you ever criticised him?

  10. theBHOYfromU.N.C.L.E on

The general apathy of the support regards res 12,governance issues, ebt’s etc is a real disappointment to me…………….never mentioned where I sit (123) unless brought up by myself and quickly dismissed as ‘so what, nothing we can do’.

Hibs fans have at least put a banner up…….not much in the grand scheme of things but a step in the right direction.Given the GB influence on our fans I would welcome some sort of display and wonder why they are choosing to ignore these issues……………

  11. TD that flat much was true. Landlord was an ex grenadier guard. couldnt move me out quick enough on the account of windows smashed. the local prods put up with me but the hangers on didnt get my humour one little bit. You’ll be in touch with that emotion alright :-)

I’m getting effed off wi fellow Celtic fans who say there’s nothing we can do.

I don’t accept that from them anymore than I accept it from my hun pals.

The world is full of stories best swept under the carpet. The only reason we know about some of them is because good people became brave people.

Bertie Auld did the same against against Dukla Prague in 1967 when he faked to move the ball at a free kick and slipped the ball to Willie Wallace, who scored.

  17. Tin Hat on time lol !

Since 2009 I’ve attended the Hill five times Despair in 2009 being pumpt by the Kingdom and the Gooch then 2010 the Magic of witnessing Sam returning to Leeside after 20 years.

Having witnessed Mayo people turning up in their thousands having been beaten by the Hills the Kingdom and the Jacks and having been in their company after the defeats in Coppers. I Hope that the Nearly Men win today against a very Good Dublin side.

I wish everyone well I’m sorry I can’t be there this year but hope you all have a grand day !

Time for the green and red to dump Molly in her barra and like Galway bring Sam to join Liam in the West !!

  22. Great to hear the GB chanting Callum Mcgregors name at yesterday’s game,it would be nice to hear them giving a chant for James Forrest as well, thought he had a great game yesterday and has been pretty consistent since Brendan arrived

    Afternoon All.

Before the game yesterday, I was at a meeting of the Celtic Charity Foundation fans committee and the subject of the annual charity sleep out for the homeless came up.

There will be two sleep outs this yeat, one at Celtic Park and one at St Anne’s in London where Walfrid was later stationed and I think that is going to be on the 24th of November but it has not been officially announced yet so watch this space.

Anyway, I was reminded that I posted something about last year’s sleep out on here — possibly on the 12th or 13th of November (I can’t remember) and the foundation have asked me to update it and post it on their blog site to promote this year’s event.

I never keep a record of the old rubbish I write so I don’t have a copy so was wondering if anyone can access the post of you remember it or can track it down. Maybe one of the Mods can get to it.

If anyone has any ideas then please get in touch.

Not been on here much for the past few weeks as I am working like a Trojan and it is really having a very tiring effect which I don’t like much. Great day yesterday in the lounges with Old Tim, DD and his boy, Jamesgang, Malorbhoy, Hebcelt, Kickinthenakas and others and good to see Hamilton Tim, Cowiebhoy, Mike from Toronto, Lionsroar, Eddie Rice, CRC and others.

Sorry I wasn’t great company but am just so tired right now.

After the match I came home, went to bed and slept for 15 hours.
