    That was very moving.

Nomme Kalju tickets on sale @ £23 which I think is £3 more than the corresponding round last year (could be wrong)

    Venue change for away leg

CELTIC have confirmed the second leg of their Champions League second round qualifier against Nomme Kalju will take place at the 15,000-capacity Estonian National stadium on July 30.

  3. Only saw about 60 minutes on android. Celtic looked good.

I must have missed a traumatic 30 mins as most of the comments seem to concentrate on that.

However I appreciate it’s difficult to give a balanced view without watching the whole game.

    Hail Hail to all.

I am fairly pleased with how things are shaping up. Yes there are a few negatives, particularly in Defence, but it is still very early in the season. I also thought Sarajevo were a stiffer test than we are used to at even the second round of qualifying.

Personally, I prefer us to make mistakes early in the season, when the friendlies, and now competitive games, are against teams we can still beat whilst not playing our best. Identifying issues the defence may have, at this stage, while we have more time to correct them, is preferable to only finding out there are issues, when we are two down, after ten minutes at Snake Mountain. A defence benefits more than any other part of the team, from familiarity, and the more games, and training days, the defenders get together, will tighten and improve them as a unit. It would help, in this regard, to get a good right back in quickly, and for Jullien to get games as soon as he is fit.

I think that things look ok, middle to front. Once Eddie, Griff and Jamesie find their range, I can see us hitting the net regularly in the SPFhelL. Europe? Well that’s more of a challenge, and as always, we will need some luck, but we certainly have as good a chance, of qualifying for the Group Stage as any of the teams in the Champions Route for qualifying.

Hopefully Shved, Bayo and Sinclair can find some form to gatecrash the first team. It’s a big year for our Academy players that are on the fringes of the first team. Johnston, Henderson, Ono-Flex and Dembele, will contribute I am sure. How much? That’s really up to them. Finally, I think Morgan should stay with us this season. He can certainly have an impact domestically at least.

    🍀⚽️

  5. I appreciate we are not moral police, but I am uneasy about links with Danny Simpson.

Oh how we slagged the huns about signing a thug like Flanagan. Very appropriate we mocked a perfect fit.

If signing Leigh Griffiths was controversial to some, then this should be a red rag to a bull.

Imo, actions do indeed speak louder than words.

    Our female fans deserve better.

    HH.

  6. 2Reasonable Strikers avalabile on free transfers,Charlie Austin, and Danny Wellbeck,if only we could afford one of them, and Cahill from Chelsea also on a free transfer ,I suppose wages would be a big problem.

  7. I thought we played well last night.

Everyone has to remember that it is early days, I think we always start off slowly at the start of the season.

I also think that the opposition we’re a dirty lot and the ref let them away with it.

This disrupted our play and we were lucky not to have had injuries .

  8. Corkcelt.

    What a very emotional post.

Through all the arguing and negative stuff on here, something gets posted and brightens up yer day. Magic.

What a club!, what a support.

    HAIL HAIL.
