  1. i miss declan posting

will he too make a reappearance tonight.

    what about truth1690, cmon out

  2. A fan of your rivals comes on and congratulates your team on a great result,

Well where have you been for the last 6 month?

    Why now?

  3. I’m outa here when we put up wi that type of poster. We slate the dark side, but condone muppets like this. Paul67, I feel another sabbatical coming on. Night night.

    Weefra HH

  4. We are one Celtic family, have had phone calls from six different country’s .Will they not give me peace to watch highlights.HH

  5. scotlands shame on

particularly pleased for hooper tonight who has been the recent scapegoat among our fickle members of support despite his phenomenal scoring record at home and abroad, performance summed up by clearing the ball in left back position at byeline in 5th min of injury time.

Hopefully the dissenters will now dissist wih their pathetic, how many times has hooper touched the ball drivel that has crept in recently.

god bless neil lennon, dermot desmond, peter lawell, the green brigade but particularly each and every player who has played a part however small in this incredible achievement.

As always proud to be a celtic fan but particularly proud that these men are the ones chosen to wear the hoops.

    hail hail

  6. If this is Armageddon I just can’t get enough!

Personally I would like Schalke, just down the road from me and a fair sized stadium with better chances of getting a ticket. Travelling fans could base themselves in Dortmund and be assured of a warm welcome, also only a 30 minute train journey, between Dortmund and Gelsenkirchen.

  7. Brilliant Celtic. Pwoud. Vewy Pwoud.

    London Calling – Clas(h)s!

EdU – Good of you to pop in. All the best to you, and keep on keeping on!

  8. 'crushed nuts?' 'Naw, Layringitis!' on

    notthebus

@shootyourselfinthefootchucklesG: get it up yeez! we will not be in Europe as long as I’m in charge! (or Dundee)

  9. I apologies sincerely, to the blog but if this guy had any class he would leave us well alone to enjoy our achievements, like he has done throughout his own clubs debacle.

Im sorry but the FAWNING is just boak-inducing.

Sorry I dont know the Latin for that! Uneducated Cretin that I am.

  10. Pigalle

Indeed!, was not his first words ever, but did raise a fantastic cheer and much merriment in

his home from the assembled family.

  11. Watching quiet tv now with the mrs…..

…..but in my head there’s this massive party goin’ on….

    kinda schizoid…

Lenny, “Sammi is the kind of player who could get me the sack”…..

or help us lift the CL trophy.

  13. Watched On the telly about 40 mins of Malaga (whilst on hols there) in Aug this year, and to be honest they just threw themselves to the floor the entire time, against lower league fodder.

Got the impression, if you shackled the front guys then they were pretty clueless.

    Not easy but very beatable.

    Draw starts 10.30am Thursday

  14. Saint Stivs

They are ex-players and fans not fans alone but point taken. Me and SK-Bhoy are the two most famous fans

  15. Kojo – you are right. No easy games for us at this level. Malaga are, like us, having a run that few would have predicted. But they have new money, lots of it. For selfish reasons I want them, then I can drive down the road to see the game.

  16. Good evening LAST 16ers!

Just in from the game…………… let the people sing!

Time for a cuppa and a catch-up with the blog.

    Izzy

    FYI

Edward is the only Rangers supporter I have encountered who is the antithesis of a hun.

  18. Ntassoolla

Pasyakov is good but not experienced goalkeeper. Right, he did very well for them tonight.

  19. Izzy :- Fauning means giving birth to a faun, a mythological half man half goat from Greek legend

As far as mentioning the charity drive I only did this to the kids family know that the appeal has gone beyond Celtic sites and at least two Rangers pages have put the appeal up for donations.

As for not posting for a while there are two reasons, the last time I came on to congratulate friends on here real life as well as cyber there were a few posters like yourself so rather than cause trouble I cut down on my time on the site.

The other reason is that 90% of my football time is now taken up by amateur and youth football so I didn’t have much to add to senior football discussion.

As far as my views on the way events have gone at Ibrox and whether I should disassociate myself from them, I made my position clear in previous posts that if any rules were broken then whatever the penalty for breaking those rules were should be applied.

  20. Dry your eyes Izzy, each to their own.

I don’t fawn over anyone, but I have never seen the poster in question make a bad post. He is less critical of Celtic than many Celtic fans, and some vey good judges of character have all the time in the world for Ed.

Let it be fella. Enjoy your night :-)

  21. Back home, hip flask exhausted, handwarmer charcoal reduced to ash, the Yankee Significant Other says, “Okay, I begin to get it. You can buy me a ticket if you want…”

Having volunteeered earlier that I’d be smiley face smiley face with a jammy 1-0, o.g.-driven win, I confess myself to be well fesking pleased with the outcome (both domestically and footballingly)

  22. Good evening from the Red Sea Coast,

Watched the Al Jazeera coverage tonight with Lineker, Shearer, Hoddle and El Tel and they were all paying great tribute to us and Neil!

Feeling a bit homesick at missing another historical night at CP but just so proud to be a fan of this special club and looking forward to being back in my seat on the 22nd

My good friend just summed it up in a text, ‘champions of Europe and England out….. Champions of Scotland in!’

Have a great night and walk tall and proud as a Celtic fan tomorrow and everyday!

    God bless,

    sTICks

  23. •-:¦:-•** -:¦:- sparkleghirl :¦:-.•**• -:¦:-• on

It’s an old jke and way past its sell-by, but….

Benfica & Spartak need a strong Rangers. Mwahahahahaaaa

And so to bed. Sweet dreams, Green Ones.
