He was in for tests and observation. Time is taking its toll on him. Just my opinion but I think boredom is one of his biggest foe’s and it wears him down. Ramie was saying at first he was quite enjoying the change of scenery but it didn’t take too long before he was ready to go home again.
He is hanging in there but you’d understand how dangerous even a common cold could be for him.
Again, only my opinion, but one of the biggest uppers for him is something out of the ordinary, like a letter from an old friend or the like.

A few interesting posts over on the Scottish football monitor from a new poster called Charlotte fakeovers. INcludes what looks to be an old presentation involving Andrew Ellis.
Looks as though Murray had agreed a deal with Ellis but this time was not up for selling for a £1. I wonder what happend betwee this Ellis bid and Whyte. I think we are about to find out…
Also details being given about Green making a mistake on the 12 of december last year that means he should be giving up his shares rather than selling them. I don’t know what the rules are but surely the mere passing on of Greens shares would not render the other shares relevant?
Charlote Fakeovers looks to be a real Rangers person in the Malcolm Murray camp. Interesting when they start to eat their own young.

Reading your post triggered my memory back to when martin was first in the hospital in perth … all those years ago.
I thought of how I had read thata little thing like a voice or song can bring someone out of a coma. So I bought a celtic shirt with kano on the back and we got it signed by the team and sent to martin in oz.
As time passed I have prayed for martin every day … light a candle at mass too… but he can’t see or feel that in oz.
Come on you bhoys in green …let’s remind our friend how much we love him .

Good Morning,
Yesterday– was a great day. Full of things that were all good– Celtic good.
As I get older, I recall more and more yesterdays– often with great fondness and with great affection. Celtic yesterdays.
When I undertook to write a word or two for the Willie Wallace book some very very early memories and yesterdays were brought back. Writing such a book sometimes takes you into researching times and events of which you have some knowledge but no immediate recall– and sometimes you come across a gem or two.
Paul says in his leader for the book that Willie Wallace had blistering pace. A Few posters rightly pointed out that Willie surely did not have the pace of Bobby Lennox?
While that is true, Willie still had blistering pace– behind Lennox he was undoubtedly the fastest player Celtic had though Stevie Chalmers would run him close. This in turn allowed Stein to vary his team– sometimes leaving out Bobby’s pace in favour of the size and strength of big Yogi. This was done partly because Willie Wallace and Srevie still left the attack with blistering pace.
Yet Willie could play every single position in the forward line.
Sometimes he would revert to his original position of right winger which would allow wee Jimmy to roam all over the park causing mayhem while Willie ran the right channel with that pace.
The European Cup semi final first leg against Dukla Prague at Celtic park determined that we had one foot in Lisbon with Willie making his European Début for the club that night. He was desperate to play– as was Bertie Auld who had sat beside him in the stand watching the match against Vojvodina.
That hunger is clearly evident as Auld and Wallace ran the show that night in front of 75,000 at Celtic park– well at least then Celtic secretary Desmond White said it was 75,000– but in reality?? Who knows.
If you have not seen this clip– then here are the Lions at their very best– against a team that was amongst the best in Europe. Dukla were always in the later stages of the European Cup and in 1967 they boasted their best team in years– they were in with a real chance and as you will see, unlike Inter, they were not afraid to attack.
Every Dukla player had been in the Army or were in the Army as they were the Army team.
They were a team of giants– big fit skilful men– many of whom had glorious international careers that included a world cup final against Brazil a few years earlier.
But on this night– they were no match for Celtic and Willie Wallace!
Look out for the run across the box by Stevie Chalmers just before our third goal — it was a move that was to be very significant in the history of Celtic Football Club.
Morning all. Drab down here at the moment. We actually had a glimpse of that big yellow ball in the sky about 8 o’clock last night.
Great football yesterday. Hopefully, this is a harbinger of things to come, starting with the Final. No Scottish team can live with us when we play like that.
Looking forward to Alex Thompson’s revelations this week.

Good morning friends from a dry but overcast East KIlbride.
My mate and I were discussing Willie Wallace pace as we left Celtic Park yesterday. We both agreed he was nothing like Bobby Lennox in the speed stakes but my mate does remember him being fast. For me, that was Stevie’s biggest asset. In fact, I would have said that Stevie might well have been as quick as Bobby.
But the conclusion of our cogitations was that we were privileged to have seen the Lions and the likes of Joe McBride and there will never be their likes again.
that was some night, it was the eve of my brothers birthday i was 10 he turned 7.
i remember before the game i spent a fair bit of time ootside the “general wolf” (i think) in the gallowgate with crisps and ginger waitin’ on ma da and uncles.
Parkheadcumsalford- do you think Bobby Lennox is the quickest player you have seen?
Faster than [pre-injury] Didier Agathe or Craig Bellamy?
Pure pace is a great asset in a player, especially if you can throw in a bit of ball control.

Morning,
Nearly choked on my toast when I read this.
Glasgow North West Labour MP John Robertson told the Sunday Herald he would want more reassurance about the character of businessmen joining the board. He said: “I would like to hear someone like Walter Smith, who is respected among the fans, say of an individual ,’this person is fine’.”

Sevco/Sportsco… lol!
JAMES Easdale has formed a new sports-related company, the Sunday Herald can reveal. The businessman in line to become one of Rangers’ biggest shareholders launched Sportsco Ltd days after it was reported that outgoing Rangers CEO Charles Green would be selling his shares to him. According to Companies House, the new firm was incorporated on April 30 and has an address in Greenock. Easdale is listed as the organisation’s sole director.

Mullet & Co – the way I read the posts on TSFM was that Green’s 12/12/12 “mistake” was in not informing the AIM and Cenkos Securities (who were running the Sevco IPO) that he had received a letter from Whyte’s camp questioning ownership of the assets.
This kind of thing I imagine ought to be revealed to potential investors…
