what a great feeling waking up knowing that one trophy is safely in the cabinet and another special one to play for..great perfomance by the Bhoys yesterday..magic to have Broony\°/ back in the fold..you can see the diference with him in the team..direct crisp passing.driving the play forward constantly and the players respect their captain..when he went off the game went flat imo..thats when you can evidently see the contrast of what the guy offers to the team.totaly disgusted with walkers comments wtf is it with people like him??disgusted with st.j pishy effort of a guard of honer..why bother?great crowd and totaly enjoyed my day oot..its been a magic week and hope we can keep the momentum going from this to tanadice then hampden and more silverware h.h

Great game yesterday. Good to see the players outside after the game with the disabled fans and kids for photos etc. Warm feelings on a cold day.

Good to see Broonie and Forrest playing yesterday. Bit of a midfield headache for the cup final cleared now. Forrest Brown Ledley and either Samaras or Commons on the left.

Been here for 12 + years and been ill once —– flu from hell. Old man down the canyon told me to do that old school thing ——I did -it really worked . Mrs S of T did it too / it worked for her . Local legend has it that it can be fatal if you have high blood pressure !.
The emergence of The Pogues was a time I particularly enjoyed for personal reasons. I also think they heralded a change in terms of accepting Irishness as being something positive. Im not Irish but resented the attitude that was prevalent at the time. Strangely, despite the majority of people having become more accepting, remembering the treatment of Neil has made me think about how entreched attitudes are within some.

‘This systematic review and meta-analysis suggests that garlic preparations are superior to placebo in reducing blood pressure in individuals with hypertension. Future large scale long-term trials are needed to investigate whether standardised garlic preparations could provide a safe alternative or complementary treatment option for hypertension in clinical practice.’
-so garlic brings your blood pressure down; in theory if you overdosed on it your blood pressure would fall and you’d crash out quicker than the ole Sevco share price.
Wee bit surprised I’m not suffering the same as a few on here, but what the heck, a party’s a party. Just seen the clip of Lenny handing over his medal – a fantastic thing to do, but I wonder how much coverage that’ll get by the MSM.
Spent a fine few hours in the company of many fellow Tims in Babbity’s after the game yesterday, including two scousers and their sons up for the day. They were really effusive in their praise for the whole display, from the football to the silverware hand-over. It was nice to see our former chairman Brian Quinn and our Centenary historian Brian Wilson there in among the fans as well. We truly are a cosmopolitan family.
Posted two great pics on the CQN Magazine Facebook page. One of the dug-out in Paisley on 3 May 1986 as Davie Provan signals to the team that Dundee had just scored again!
The second of 14 May 1967 after a match v Killie where the Celtic players lift Jock Stein on their shoulders.
Both worth a wee look.
Anyone trying to buy Willie Wallace Heart of a Lion – can you use the link under Paul’s blog on Friday please? The link from the ad isn’t working properly yet but will be fixed when everyone sobers up and hangovers wear off…

Keep beer for beer, don’t throw in ole garlic or chocolate or chillies.
When Francis Hughes was captured he was in uniform. The SAS had been hunting him for ages, and only got him after a protracted firefight. The accompianing RUC were going to shoot him out of hand, only to be told they would be shot themselves because—“This man’s a soldier.”
