  1. Seems Kenny is a guy more comfortable defending, than getting forward, sounds like what we need

How do you agree but not get it signed, particularly as that appears that’s exactly what happened with Forster, and as such we released Gordon, only for him to back out. A mess we have not recovered from.

This is a disgrace if the same thing has happened again, someone needs sacked.

*eh I think he’s retiring anyway.

Unless we instruct him to bomb up in support. The quality of who we play against at left wing will be pretty poor until the end of the season but tbh my head’s melted with it all.

If they were gardeners I could have done the half cut joke

Glad you’re happy with the work

As a matter of interest what heating are you using in the greenhouse

Anyway tough times ahead, I would prefer they called the leagues and restarted in April/May with the Scottish cup, and with a lockdown, the sporting wing of Combat 18 won’t be able to be out and about shouting their odds

*Sports in North America are totally dependent on TV revenue; as such the major sports have continued through the pandemic but are strictly monitored.

The MLB, MLS, NBA and NHL, due to crossover teams from Canada and the US, are played in designated Hubs, the NFL though with no crossover has continued in the clubs location but crowds are limited.

Although the Super Bowl will be played next Sunday the annual Pro Bowl which is the NFL All Star game played in the gap between the Division Titles and Super Bowl and ensures the players are the best in their positions which helps in their next contract negotiation won’t be played this year, the players though will be acknowledged.

Meanwhile up in cuckoo land retiring SPL secretary Ian Blair announced that the season will continue to fruition avoiding the civil war that erupted last year.

The only civil war I can recall was our support wanting to continue as we had slippy and his club on the run, so no chance of a null and void.

  6. p.s It does allow us to put the excellent Kris Ajer back in at CH, beside Welsh until Julien returns.

    I’m in. Go on JonJoe…..

Apparently Barca taking legal action against the newspaper which released details of Messi’s four year contract, El Mundo I think. Just goes to show there is more than one way of bringing a great club down, there is our way, and there is the unmitigated greed shown by wee Lionel. No wonder Barca linked with a Euro Super League!

They really made a good job of the Pathway,in fact,Some tennents said,( I wish they had done theirs as good)

  10. BSR

I think the point some posters are trying to make is we have been looking for centre back(s) for at least the past two years. The transfer window has been open for 4 weeks. Rather than tie Davies up at the start of the window, we’ve waited to save a months worth of wages, even though we could have used him the last 3 or 4 games. But, alas, Liverpool suddenly need cover . While we’ve been piddling about it looks as though we are about to be usurped yet again

If Lenny is making squad plans for the summer , then a helluva lot of Celtic fans will be making plans for shopping , gardening , golfing , watching their local juniors , of a Saturday .

  12. There is no other insight, interpretation, viewpoint which fits the evidence – we messed the ten up, the squad is in disarray; many fans would be relieved to get 2nd.

  13. 31003

The pre contract with Davies would have kicked in for next season unless we took him on loan or payed a transfer fee.

  14. We sell Frimpers for £11.5m & replace him with a loan, whilst Lawwell pockets his bonus, the Celtic way in a nutshell.

What a complete and utter shambles of a club we’ve become.

    Preston RB anyone?

I was always a bit nervous when there was talk on here about having a silver bullet for Res12

Can’t say I knew anything about the Preston boy.

    But here we go again.

    Identify a player.

Faff about, play the whole circus out in full view of the media, argue the toss over a token fee and look to play hardball.

And then act “surprised and disappointed” when somebody gets wind of the player’s availability and sighs him up.

*although I won’t be happy, didnae want him first or second time, I’ll still be supporting the bhoys but as usual from afar. Been through far worse than this.

  18. Squire

You can walk from Liverpool to Preston – to suggest Liverpool didn’t know what was in the local news is absurd

  19. NOTTHEBUS on 31ST JANUARY 2021 8:21 PM

One more centre back and we can have a back four of loanees

A stat to sum the omnishambles up

  20. amazing how players get better when they are out injured , Julien has played a major part in the state we see ourselves in, some have short memories , Julien is a big woose ,just wait till he comes back ,he won’t get near any centres forwards and don’t talk about goalposts.

  21. Bale subbed – been very poor – £300k per week – we’re amateurs when it comes to wasting money – dear oh dear

  22. GENE,

It’s a fan heater,I can’t tell the make of it as it’s down in the Greenhouse, and to dark to go down there now,

But i’m happy with it, when I switched it on this morning it was reading 2 degree’s an hour later it was 15=16.

It’s box shaped 12”long by 6” square face with a heater and fan inside.
