Astonishing that a national broadcaster actually allows Jabba a platform to spread such dubious opinions; maybe its because these much vaunted scottish managers like Craig Brown, Jim Jeffries, Jimmy Calderwood (aka The Largs Mafia) are actually, in the main, pretty sh*te at their jobs and are a huge part of the reason for the decline of scottish football.

i thought i heard off someone on CQN barca and real are after him in january if so we havent a hope of getting him which is a shame as he is a really good striker and from what i have seen he is better than hooper and stokes
a real treat for the eyes, the ears and the heart.
Green Brigade I salute you.
The fans who backed the bhoys for the WHOLE game today without getting on anyones back, I salute you.
The 14 Hooped hereos, every one of them, I salute you.
Dylan McGeoghs mum, in section 139 , waving to her bhoy while telling us all “thats ma bhoy, he is going to be some player”, I salute you.
and to our latest recruit, young Adam C, 8 , from Bishopton, who i took to the match today, at halftime he told me , I used to be a Rangers supporter, but now its definately Celtic.
I’m getting old. But that means among other things that I can remember great Celtic teams. Well, this team is shaping up to be another. 5 goals and lovely entertaining football. That is 2 games where the opposition haven’t gone out to kick us off the park and look what happens. Thought Samaras was class today. Mind you, Wanyama is different class altogether.
Just home, don’t think I’ve every seen such heavy rain for an entire game, soaked right through before and after, imagine playing football in that.
Play football we did, and credit to St.Mirren who passed the ball quite well throughout.
Celtic were much more like last seasons peak side, and the introduction of the sensational Victor Wanyama to the midfield snuffed out St Mirren’s restricted chances. Victor was immense, from start to finish, never put a foot wrong breaking up nearly every St. Mirren move, and in turn helped Beram Kayal to have his best game for weeks.
Samaras took his opportunity and had a tremendous game running at the St.Mirren defence and finding his touch, with some great possession play,
and lay off.
Gary Hooper profited from poor defending and punished St.Mirren with his hat trick, and excellence in finish.
The back four were solid and Loovens and Danny had a scroll, Adam Matthews had another fine game in his own position, and again Ledley showed why two natural left backs, stayed on the bench.
Every celtic player played well, and Dylan McGeough’s goal was just superb, with two players waiting for a pass, the youngster showed real potential in
hanging onto the ball, to score, with precocious cheek, the mark of a true Celtic prospect.
The Green Brigade played a blinder as usual, and it’s amazing how the spurious charge of illicit singing has galvanised and united the entire support, inside the stadium.
From adversity, we have found unity.

It is amazing to think Victor is only 19 he plays the game with such maturity and such confidence. We have a lot of promising players at the club but imo Victor is far and away the pick of the bunch. I rember a few years ago watching a young Michael Essien playing in French football and getting rave reviews and then ending up at Chelsea for a huge transfer fee well I rate young Victor as every bit as good as the young Essien mark my words the young man is going to go along way in the game.H.H.
Jinky was my hero on
Just back from the match, great performance and a wonder debut goal from a future star in Aidens old Shirt Number, congratulations Dylan, wonder if his dad liked the magic roundabout?
GB in great voice and the atmosphere was fantastic, I have said alll along to anyone who would take the time to listen that we have very good team in the making, the average without big Dan is about 22, consider the injuries we have had and the young men trying to find consistancy under the pressure of playing for a huge club who expect victory at every game.
Victor is the find of the season, he will get better and better, consider this young man is only 20 years of age and coming to a new country which has a more physical and quicker paced league than he as experienced to date.
We have players coming back and perhaps a signing or two in January, the manky mob will implode at some point believe me, their fans are glory hunting bigots who will get on their case as soon as things begin to go pear shaped, and it will happen at some point soon.
Enjoy the evening fellow bhoys and ghirls, well done to my mate Eddie who called to say he couldnt make the game but had taken us to win 5 – 0 with a £10!!

Can I make an observation, now admittedly I cannot comment on how good a victory that was for you today. But Dunfermline then St. Mirren at Parkhead is hardly reasons to go overboard.
Your manager tends to let his mouth run away with itself, not like him I know, this week it is
“Samaras,he set the tone for the game.
“He got his goal, which we’ve been waiting on a long time. His play was fantastic. He is a talent and all we are asking for is consistency.
“He has shown everyone today what he is capable of when he is in full flow. The rest took a leaf from his book.”
“It was a great team performance, from my goalkeeper right through to my third substitute coming on – magnificent goals, work ethic, passing, attacking play and very good defensively.
“I’m delighted, absolutely thrilled with the players today.”
So different from
‘I am just sick to the back teeth with it’ or ‘I keep telling them but they just won’t listen’ or ‘ ask them questions after the game and I get no reply’ or ‘There are three players I would consider are exempt from criticism. But there are others who are really lagging, the Celtic manager points. I would like to change it but I can’t. And until they start showing consistency, an urgency, a drive and a will to win, it is going to be difficult for me to get results”.
Will he ever learn moderation.
I’ll make a prediction, it will happen again, we have all seen this movie, and Neil will revert to type.

Forster=-good
Mathews-excellent
Dan-excellent
Glen-v good
Ledley-brilliant
Forrest-good
Kayal-v good
Vic-brilliant
Sammi-superb
Hooper-outstanding
Stokes-unsung hero
McGeogh-fantastic
Paddy-ok
Bangura-himself
Midfield balance was better today allowing Sammi + Forrest creativity.
Stokes is becoming a great team player
Hooper is a top class striker.
Vic is mature beyond his years and is allowing Kayal to be the player we know is there
Young Forrest has it in abundance.
The much maligned Dan and Glen were positive and confident behind a proper central midfield as they held position well.
Sammi was the player we know exists.
The central mids retained a better shape allowing others to be more expressive with less fear of repercussions.
Young Dylan looked like a Celt.
Bangura so far looks unconvincing but to early to judge
Paddy looks like he realises his time has passed.Shame As he is a talent
Any info on us going back in for the big Portugese fella? Was it Diawara?
Meant to add – I hope we are looking to build on this momentum.
I shall enjoy this result and then remember the old adage – you’re only as good as your next game.
The winning habit is good. Confidence breeds confidence but focus is all.
Special mention to Ledley who was today’s unsung hero and our young right back who was pretty good as well.
Anyone got any links to the goals from today?
