Griffiths in this league, is a goal machine when fit!!.
If we had sent him out on loan, i for one would have been gutted!!.

Celtic’s goal difference is currently 25 ahead of Sevco .
Frightening .

Can’t understand the arrogance on here. Those +5 goals will come in useful when the The Rangers finally turn up, win all their games in hand, gub us twice and score by 25 goals…

Well played Bhoys.
Job done.
16 clear.
Special mentions for Leigh, Odsonne and Nir who were excellent.
1st goal, sublime cross from French Eddy to Griff.
Second goal lovely one-two and sublime back heel from Rogic.
Third goal OE with back to goal, spins magnificently.
Fourth goal, a powerful, daisy cutting pile driver from outside box.
Fifth, solid spot kick.
All great goals, none of them lucky.

Since Bitton came back, he has been a revelation. Another Super performance today, If you get a hat trick, you are in the Jobo 3 so that’s 2 places sorted. Have a bit of head scratching to do before I decide on my 3rd choice,
When I looked back at the extended highlights of our 2-1 reversal against Sevco then we actually looked heavy-legged and tense throughout that match. I hope that NL makes a predictable team selection with no weird exotic choices and from there we then need to show high energy off the ball and then our quality will work for itself when we are in possession. I think we will see the 3-5-2 versus sevco and id play Hayes as LWB with Frimpong at RWB and then Eddy and Griff up front. Sevco play very very narrow with their front 3 coming inside narrow to form a inside forward set-up and then rely very heavily on their wing-backs to motor up and give them width. When their wing backs are negated or not playing well they fall apart with no plan B. We push our wing-backs high up against theirs then we can almost totally negate their entire structure and game plan.

Quelle surprise.
Livi lost after bursting lungs and cramping muscles all over their carpet on Wednesday.

Thanks for the updates and links to the goals. +25 to the good! We’re going to need them if games go behind closed doors, every Sevco game will be reported as ,5 zero for the currant buns
Glad to see Bitton getting plaudits. I’ve said more than once on here that, imo, he is the best passer of the ball we have among our defenders.

ESPIRITODECELT – If Frimpong plays I think he needs Bitton or Elhamed behind him. He was badly exposed in previous Sevco games. If he plays as a RWB then there is no place for JF. I cannot see that being remotely possible in a NL team selection.

Fess, I make it plus 26. Think you checked before the penalty.

Hamilton victory today is bad news for Ross County who, despite playing well, are in danger of getting sucked into the relegation mire.
They could really do with a win against struggling Sevco tomorrow.

26 goals to the good but whos arguing over a goal
If the huns drop anything tomorrow we can win the league before the split
Dreaming but would be nice

By exotic team selections I mean: don’t play Calum at LB from the start, don’t play Ajer at RB fom the start, dont play Mikey johnston up-front when he doesn’t have the physique, don’t play Taylor as a LWB when he isnt really trained for that position. Good, clear now.

All attention now turns towards what is in effect a dead rubber Glasgow derby. I never thought that would be the case after the 29th December derby loss.
Griff will almost certainly start alongside Eddie. Neil will need to decide on one off Christie, Ntcham and Rogic to play behind the two front men.
The only other selection decision to make is whether to play Bitton or El Hamed. The rest of the team picks itself for me.
Whatever the shape, we need to be in their faces from the off.

Come on the RCs tomorrow.

There has to be a fair chance that in the next 8 days newco will lose to RC, Leverkusen and us.
If that happens Gerrard will surely be out of a job?

Accies pulling clear from bottom spot. Could be a real battle to avoid relegation between Hertz, St. Mirren & Accies.
Another battle shaping for 6th spot.
St. Johnstone now only a point behind Hibs with a game in hand, against Sevco.
If Ross County win tomorrow, we will win this Title before the split.

You may not remember, but I posted before the game on Wednesday that I thought Hamilton would get something out of their game against the mankies.

This is not a dig at Brendan Rodgers btw, but would Leigh have gotten back to this level under his management?
I’m not so sure

Not sure Gerrard will walk so I expect a mexican standoff, all based on the huns being potless to pay him off. Should give us more jelly and ice cream moments…

It looks like we go to Ibrox with an almost fully fit squad, looking fresh and with a full week to recover. A bit of luck and a lot of good planning

One. Game. At. A. Time.
It looks like Lenny has handled Griff perfectly.
There’s a very easy comparison to draw with Gerrard and Morelos
Over on Rangers Media, they are discussing the Leverkusen game on Thurs (who just thumped Frankfurt 4-0):
———-
–
They look a very good team. We will have to be at our very best to get anything.
—–
Aye even a shy :)
——–
Would obviously make a big difference in terms of revenue and putting some of our players in the window.
———
Some of them need putting through a window right enough.

Most important game of the next week for sevco – Ross County, Leverkusen or Celtic?
I reckon Ross County.
Fail to win tomorrow and it’ll make any reversals Thursday and Sunday totally intolerable
There is massive pressure on them tomorrow.
