   KTF understood – but we buy promising prospects in all other areas of the park except midfield. there must be emerging quality we can buy in the euro market or loans of experienced players.

   It’s like playing against 21 players, everyone of their outfield players is working hard enough for two. No matter how many passes we play there’s always 11 Val players behind the ball.

    STEBHOY Rogic and Ntcham are both in that bracket but unfortunately both are injured. Both would be very expensive players to buy as would CalMac. Kouassi is another prospect but again is injured.

    There really has to be a consideration by BR of focus on possession v territory.

     

     

    We have more of the ball than previous Celtic teams in Europe but the majority of it is in our final 3rd and when we give it away it results in a disorganised back line running towards their own goal. We need a bit of a re-think, particularly in Europe.

    Crowd were brilliant first half, sounds pretty subdued now. Not surprisingly. Already feels like it is over.

    Tierney, Rogic, Ntcham, Griffiths, Benkovic. All missing tonight. Missing 5 important members of the 5 team squad impacts significantly.

     

     

    Tierney and Benkovic wouldn’t be exposed like Jozo and Izzy are; Tommy Twinkletoes would be a real bonus on a night like this. Ntcham and Griffiths could also make significant impact.
