Thrilled with first half. By far the better team, some great individual displays.
Just need that break in the box.
We’ve been all over Zenit, who so far have failed to live up to the pre match hype. We should be a couple of goals up by now and I reckon if Leigh Griffiths had been playing we might well have been.
The whole team are playing well though, and with a focus we haven’t seen in recent games. More of the same second half and we can take a nice cushion over to St. Petersburg.
TOBAGO STREET, just not 100% just now so I’ve missed a few games; hopefully back on Sunday.

I am a bit surpirised at how this game has gone … we have largely controlled the tempo and controlled the play … just need to be a little bit sharper to carve out/take a chance or two …
I would have thought Zenit would be a bit more skillful and quick in attack ….
and I would have thought that they would pressed us more as we are bringing the ball out (as we dont cope so well when teams do that), but they seem content to sit back a bit … good for us, but poor coaching for them…
Playing the way we know we can play. Now they have proven they still have it players need to find same form every game and push on domestically. Defend from the front then we don’t need to worry too much about the excuse matrix.

Great first touch and turn, head up looking forward.
He’s been missing Griff, Roberts, Rogic, Armstrong running ahead of him to play ball to. I think that’s why his game has suffered lately.
We’re getting forward quickly tonight which suits his game.
Need a goal to reward our play. We look stronger than them. No sub-par performances tonight. Wish I was there
Great first half. I seem to one alone in thinking big Moussa is having a fine game and holding the ball up well.
McGregor and Forrest outstanding; Kouassi is showing why we bought him.

I hope Forrest keeps taking on his man on the outside he is resorting to smashing him when he receives the ball keep going at him he will get sent off.
Playing well but still 0-0. Mancini is a decent coach so I expect him to adjust for second half but if we maintain our belief then who knows.

Missing in action tonight.Been in bed since 2100 last night.Some bug or bad pint!As all have said need a wee bit of luck.Son in law took ticket…not the best of mascots.
With better timing of his run Moussa could’ve had two tap-ins .
He just needs a wee bit of luck in front of goal and he’ll be up and running.
Looked sharper than of late and linkup play has been pretty good.

His link up play has been great but his natural ability to anticipate a low cross ball and attack it has a way to go yet. Hope it improves with a kick up the arse in second half. :-)))

I think Kouassi is important for us … gives us a bit of steel in the middle, provides a shield for the defence, and lets the other mids get forward a bit …. needs to be playing more often
