Celtic vindicated

1145

Yesterday’s decision by the SFA’s Judicial Panel, which ruled that Josh Meekings could not be subject to retrospective action as the referee saw the contentious incident on Sunday contradicted the initial official version of events, and totally vindicated Celtic asking for clarification of the incident.

I’ve not had a chance to read through all the apologies from those who used their platforms to criticise the club, but I’ll set aside an hour to do so later.  Keep an eye on the very personal attacks on Peter Lawwell.  There are people at Hampden who don’t like his influence.

It’s never good to get ahead of yourself, and it would be foolish to assume too much ahead of our visit to Tannadice tomorrow, but I hope the Highlanders take a point against Aberdeen today.  Winning the title would be a great way to start a holiday weekend.

Loving the narrative coming out of Ibox at the moment.  It appears they haven’t even applied for membership of the ISDX yet as they haven’t found an advisor yet.  I assume that’s the fault of the Easdales.  Or the BBC.  Or Celtic.  Or maybe it’s the Pope of Rome!

What a shower.  You know how this story ends….

  1. The game in Scotland is corrupt.

We have match officials exchanging ‘the grip’ prior to kick off.

SFA placemen have colluded to ensure that a club is given a licence to compete in Europe despite failing to meet EUFA criteria.

We have had the Bryson ruling which looks more and more ridiculous every time I reread it.

A secret 5 way agreement with one member club……think about it! Lawwell should be shouting from the rooftops that Celtic get their own secret agreement.

If anyone had doubts before about who is running the SFA/SPFL then last Sunday is proof positive.

A secret society operating within another secret society……it’s bizarre.

From here on in I will assume that everyone employed by the SFA/SPFL is a fully paid up member of the brotherhood and will only be too happy to join in the chants, probably constant, next Friday night of WHOSE THE MASON IN THE BLACK.

Aye bud. It is very much a Tim shop. More noticeable on match days, when the colours get worn and songs get sung. :)

Good morning from a mixed bag of weather here in Nordrhein Westfalen but a nice temperature for me.

I know he has more than one detractor on here but I always liked the Bhoy and we could do with some of this today, from yesterday:

Apparently a plane was flying over Hampdump at a similar height last Sunday at 13:02, and suddenly the passengers on the port side all shouted ‘Penalty!’.

    I’d be worried about Chelsea.

Wenger’s got to beat Mourinho some time!

    He’s 0 / 12.

Having said that, in 39 league games since 2004 against his main opposition, The 2 Manchester clubs, Arsenal and Liverpool, he’s only lost 3! (Yeah, that’s right lady, 3!).

  19. I think it’s in the SFA rules ot the OB act, not sure what comic group it’s in, that blessing your self aggressively is an offence?

For that rule to have been put in motion it’s obvious at some point that someone was upset about this kind of behaviour and complained about people blessing them selfs, now who was that someone? And how many complained to get this silly thing past…..let’s be honest here it’s a daftie rule right?.

Wel taking it to another level I’m upset about Scottish match officials shaking hands Masonic style in an aggressive manner?

    Does that count?

  20. Ffs!

Ten minutes ago…brilliant sunshine in Troon.

    Now?

    Sleet!

    HH!!

  21. I always said that despicable wanker Ogilvie was the black architect behind the entire SFA animus towards Celtic.

Biggest mistake made in the recent Deid Hun Years was allowing that viper to remain in a position of influence.

He’s a figurehead for subservient, servile rat-bastards like McLean and Gollum, a pillar of strength to the likes of Thompson, the big bully in the workplace to Doncaster and Regan.

We didn’t cut the head off the snake. Now should be the time for Peter Lawwell to go for the Hooded Claw and bust the momentum the neuvo anti-Tim movement seem to be gaining as they emerge embittered from their cave network.

As for ‘Falkirk’ fan Gordon Wadell, you’d think his favourite team suffered a crippling draw at Ibrox yesterday going by his vitriol this morning…

    BUT…

Take solace and be energised, fellow Tims, from the sight yet to come that will burn their bigot retinas out their heids- that shot of Broony thrusting aloft the SPL CHAMPIONS trophy into the sky.

Tricky game today – 4-0 the Hoops VVD first with another rocket, a GMS double and a Guidetti sclaff.

  22. Beatbhoy

That’s some stat. I fancy Chelsea to be too strong today with the title in sight. But with my betting record this season you’re probably better sticking on 3-0 Arsenal :-)

  23. The Scottish Cup semi fiasco became an even bigger shambles as the week progressed and could even feature in Specsavers next advertising campaign. However the laughs are over and let’s get another three points today and get this title in the bag.

  24. Frannyb67

    They’re such an easy target!

Ya basta, cheats! (as they say in espanyol).
