Yesterday’s decision by the SFA’s Judicial Panel, which ruled that Josh Meekings could not be subject to retrospective action as the referee saw the contentious incident on Sunday contradicted the initial official version of events, and totally vindicated Celtic asking for clarification of the incident.
I’ve not had a chance to read through all the apologies from those who used their platforms to criticise the club, but I’ll set aside an hour to do so later. Keep an eye on the very personal attacks on Peter Lawwell. There are people at Hampden who don’t like his influence.
It’s never good to get ahead of yourself, and it would be foolish to assume too much ahead of our visit to Tannadice tomorrow, but I hope the Highlanders take a point against Aberdeen today. Winning the title would be a great way to start a holiday weekend.
Loving the narrative coming out of Ibox at the moment. It appears they haven’t even applied for membership of the ISDX yet as they haven’t found an advisor yet. I assume that’s the fault of the Easdales. Or the BBC. Or Celtic. Or maybe it’s the Pope of Rome!
What a shower. You know how this story ends….

A nice 30 degrees at 12 noon – way down south.Summer is coming !
Just read the Waddell piece on KDS.
It would never occur to a moron like Waddell that PL has been trying to bring in changes that would make the SFA more professional all round for years but is meeting resistance from the very people feeding Waddell his line.
Why this attack on PL now? The SFA know they are unassailable or are they?
Something is spooking them.
Whatever your views on PL this is an unwarranted attack on Celtic driven by fear of exposure.
We live in interesting times.

With all the attacks on Celtic & PL in particular lately you can be sure of one thing
“we are over the target” as they say :)))))))

Celtic subs: Zaluska, Ambrose, Guidetti, Scepovic, Mackay-Steven, Forrest, Tierney
Another attack on us by the SMSM. Ban those that they do, Celtic.
Sandman, you mention that black arcitecht, Ogilvie. His sidekick, brother Fleming is another who should be relentlessly challenged. Maclean and all the other brothers come under his watch.
Anyway, 3 points this afternoon to calm the nerves of many on here!!
Kris Commons starts
CELTIC v @dundeeunitedfc Gordon; Matthews, Denayer, van Dijk, Izaguirre; Brown, Bitton; Commons, Johansen, Armstrong; Griffiths (MD)

30 is nothing – last years high was 47..
Slightly surprising line up with neither Forrest or GMS in the starting line up.
Good side, slightly more cautious?
Today would be a good day to keep a clean sheet,
C’Mon the HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPS.

Celtic without rebellion….is nothing.
Bring back the Jungle.
…….oot.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Auldheid and all,
It looks like your amazing work is beginning to have its effect. Let’s hope so. Any chance the parcel of rogues will do the decent thing and resign en masse? If they don’t, can they look forward to doing time at Her Majesty’s pleasure?
Leftckick-ta:)) guy just ran by in the hoops!!!!
C’mon the Hoops.
South of T…………phew I’m melting already
Glorious in dundee
Ronny starting off without wingers then bring GMS and / or JF second half to rip them apart
Button first choice on the teamsheet every game. How the lad has improved.
Interesting team, I think Celtic have found this pitch to be quite tight in the previous matches. Hoping that Kris Commons has his shooting boots on.
I don’t like Commons and Johansen on at the same time.
Virgil 4/1 to score anytime in 90mins with corals, for the 3rd game in a row
Joe Hansen 2/1
Nir for me at 6s just coz i’m a dreamer :)))))))))))))
So Waddell, who only got the job because his brother was the editor, thinks that P.L. is conflicted in his role at the SFA.
Wonder what he thinks about Campbell Ogilvie?
That team is any one of five permutations, and every one of them should be good enough to do the business today, mon the hoops.
I was out with a couple of Welsh friends the other night and one of them, Wendy, proudly showed me a video of her new grandson resplendent in his Celtic baby grow! Somewhat puzzled I asked her how this had come about? Apparently the other granpappy is a mad Celtic supporting Scotsman. Fair tickled I was, made my night. Other grandfather slightly put out as he is a Swansea fan ;-)

It really is time for Celtic Supporters to co-ordinate action, NOW
Surprised that the substantial number of posters who, ‘week in’ and ‘week out’ vent their spleen on Peter Lawwell, are not posting their congratulations to Gordon Waddell ( my enemy’s enemy is my friend)- he seems to be saying exactly what they say with the exception of the odd word.
A funny lot these Lawwell/Board detractors!!!!
As someone who is very critical of Lawwell esp CL qualifier failure , he has 100% my support regarding the SFA situation.
These are orchestrated attacks on Lawwell. Is it coming from the media players like Iain king, Jackson etc or is there are more sinister hand behind it.
Jackson attacked Regan demanding his dismissal for handgate. How often do you see an organisation screw up and the media go after the No 2. No they go after the top dog to carry the can. This had all the thumbprints of Ogilvies Masonic handshake all over it.
The attacks on Lawwell look as if it is the same source. Lawwell is too smart and professional for the cabal of vested interests at Hampden. So Ogilvie wants him out and uses his media network to launch attacks.
It’s game on between Lawwell and OGilvie and there will be only one winner.
I trust Lawwell will do the right thing for Ronny in the CL qualifiers and help unite the support in a way it has not been for a number of years.
Top priority 3 points for the Hoops today.
LIVE UPDATES UP
C.O.Y.B.I.G.
Almost to a man the Scottish football writers decry our game. They rarely talk it up and in particular they do not like the most successful Scottish club. Healthy examination and analysis of the game is good, and we would all welcome that, but as many of them cannot face the uncomfortable truths they attack us for questioning. They ignore the shambles that is the governance of our game and the fact that one club in particular are looked after as best as they can.
Since last week they have all been on message and once again we are labelled as supporters with a mental illness. Our money is what is keeping their game and employment afloat. Time to bite back.

Sandman is correct. We didn’t cut off the head of the snake when we had the chance. Now it wants to bite us.
I hope PL realises this now.
The SFA is incapable of change. The scottish institutions will protect the evil hunnery at all and every cost.
This isn’t about football. This is about racism. We are now seeing the machinations become more open, partly in response to the panic at hampden over res 12 (well done the chaps). But they will ignore and deflect this latest challenge as they do all others. They will be allowed to do so.
We now need open warfare. It is happening whether we like it or not.
Expect some stunning mibbery today.
Ogilvie has never struck me as the type to be a mastermind or an opponent to PL,Ogilvie is just an ornament for hunnery who’s been looked after and let off with various scandals.
