Well, if we can pick up three points there without incurring injuries/suspensions and then pick off Man City at Celtic Park next match, we could – feasibly – qualify out the group with a comfortable victory over Borussia on match day 3…

Got relatives coming over from Canada next month, they will be here at the same time as the Man City game at CP. My Aunt has lived over there for 40 years but was a big Celt before she left, she was at the game of the Ibrox disaster. Any of you guys who can’t make the game, would be delighted to take your ticket. Looking for 3 tickets, ambitious i know.
we need a defensive midfielder and a right back and 6 miracles. Have to say City & Barca will be to strong home & away. The Germans looked good in the last round . We need to be brave keep the ball and take any chances that come our way.
Gordon & the defence will need to play out of his skin. Still would rather be in than watching from home, if used well the money can set us up for the next few seasons and hopefully we can build on this and keep qualifying for the CL it can be done.

Exciting stuff. NO use making predictions. We could win all three at home with a fair wind behind us, a crap load of luck and the magnificent Celtic Support right behind the team.
Equally we could take a few beatings.
But we’re in the CL. That’s the objective met – for this season.
Does anyone know what the craic will be for qualifiers next season should we beat Aberdeen and Hearts to the League title? Will we still have three rounds to play?

It looks like we will have to negotiate 4 qualifying rounds
in a couple of year’s with the proposed changes to the format.
Aberdeen on Saturday – going to be a tricky game you know. Great game to have after the CL qualifier – Aberdeen will fancy it. We have to match their effort and let the superior players do the rest.
By the end of this season Celtic will have played Barcelona the same number of times in the Champions League in the last five years as Sevco have played Peterhead in the same period.
To be fair. Sevco have got a better slightly better record against Peterhead than Celtic have against Barcelona. ( But they have played them at home every time they have been drawn together in a cup competition).
So to the MSM who scream equivalence every time they mention Celtic and Sevco.
Remember Barcelona and Peterhead.

1. Paddy Roberts IS AVAILABLE AGANST MAN CITY. His father negotiated the arrangement BEFORE he signed that he could turn out against City if we met them in Europe. Job done.

Then UEFA would sanction them; the rules state that a loan player cannot be prevented from playing against the parent club. Celtic and Che;sea have fallen foul of this before.

If it goes as it has in previous seasons, Season Ticket Holders will get the option to buy another 2 3 match packages if that helps.Would mean punting the Barca and Gladback tickets but I don’t see that as major issue. They will go.
