Is it just me who is asking what was the point of that Scotland’s game when it does not look at how clubs were/are financed, the role of the banks and their lending arrangements to clubs and administration of the game with the dead club having placemen everywhere.

I watched Roberto Carlos pick up and then replace one ball and thought I heard him say “caliente” maybe he was having a little joke about Sepp Blatter. Spanish not being a language I am fluent in, gibberish and nonsense are my strong suit, I may have misheard but thought it funny at the time.
Nae bank borrowing, nae EBTs! Liquidation anyone? Nope but Hibs did go into receivership. Bigotry sorted, well done Souness and Murray.

That is exactly the point of making such a programme. History revised, nothing happened, business as usual.
Programme makers with an agenda.

Looking forward to it big style.
However, and apologies for not being on for the last while, I got some good news in the form of my maw getting out of hospital and on the path to recovery. Still a long way to go but looking good.

Just logged back in. Fighting stopped yet, or are the jaikets still on. Just under an hour (well, probably near 3) to go. Don’t care who we get.
Today it is only 9 months till our glorious 50th Anniversary. Has anyone arranged/ing a pilgrimage. Have been looking on official site and on here for yonks and haven’t noticed anything.
On page 274 of “That Season in Paradise” there’s an itinerary that mentions a “football match” on the 25th May. Any idea/Guesses? Anyone going 50 years later. Don’t want to go alone.
