Ciftci, Stein, and the Audit

560

I’m pleased to read Ronny Deila ask for patience with Nadir Ciftci, the player needs a bit of support right now. Had Nadir knocked a goal or two in against our Icelandic opponents, Stjarnan, he would have been in a different zone at the moment, but he missed a few chances – not uncommon among players newly arrived at a club, and has since found opportunities limited by a domestic suspension.

Dundee United started training after Celtic, so Nadir was behind the curve during those games against Stjarnan. Without a full 90 minutes in a month, he will still have ground to make up when we resume after the international break, but he’ll hopefully feel the benefit of the work he’s put in on the training field in recent weeks.

Remember the Jock Stein Charity Match, which takes place at East End Park, Dunfermline on Sunday, kick-off 2pm. There’s a host of former players are playing, including Tom Boyd, Chris Sutton, Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, Neil Lennon and Stiliyan Petrov, while several from the Hollywood set are also playing, including James McAvoy, Martin Compston and Gianni Capaldi.

Funds from the event go to the Celtic and Dunfermline Foundations. You can pay at the gate to mark the 30th anniversary of Jock’s passing. There’s going to be a lot of memories on that field.

Three years after football fans in Scotland became experts in insolvency law, we now have to become familiar with Serious Organised Crime (I had to look up what it was today). The Scottish Government suggest it involves “drugs, human trafficking and fraud”.

Fraud is one of the small number of crimes where a life imprisonment sentence can be imposed on someone convicted of the crime in Scotland (it carries a maximum of 10 years in England). Even if you were 100% innocent of all charges and the possibility of contamination from dubious characters, the sheer scale of the matters in hand would be an enormous worry.

My hunch is that conspiracies and criminal plans to subvert information are difficult to maintain under the weight of these charges.

I’ve been looking all morning but cannot find what I’m searching for. Does anyone know of an enterprise which operates in the shadow of a Serious Organised Crime investigation which has been able to raise money which didn’t come from the proceeds of Serious Organised Crime?

I’m sure the audit will be just fine.

6Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD. 7Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon. 8For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye. 9For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me. 10Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD. 11And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee. 12And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

13Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

“I think you’ll find he can y’know. If there is any dubiety about the ownership of the securities given to him in return for the loan, I think you’ll find that the terms of the loan become null and void. Big Mike can say “Gimme my bawbees back right now ya lyin’, cheatin’, tax dodging b******s!”. If the RRM in charge at the big hoose right now have the said bawbees, and any more than half the brains God gave a retarded chicken, they’ll cough up the said bawbees. Because if they don’t, and Big Mike goes down the legal reclamation route, they’ll know they don’t have a leg to stand on and they’ll also incur legal costs. If Big Mike decides enough is enough, the Teddy Bears are well and truly Donald Ducked!!!! They will probably have less than six weeks to live. Get the tape measure out, there’s a coffin needin’ fitted. Sevco, 2012-2015, led a short, turbulent life. They never achieved their coveted goal. 8. Good morning CQNers,

Heartening to read that Bayern Munich are to donate 1m euros to refugee projects and other German football supporters have not succumb to right wing radicalisation, also pleasing the Celtic Foundation have moved very quickly to direct the proceeds from this weekend’s Jock Stein to refugee projects.

  9. Still see a lot of talk about Celtic strikers who were duds?

    Why were they duds?

    Cause they didny score goals?

    Did they get any chances?

Even now…how many chances does LG get per game?….4?…5?

It’s just as well that LG is as sharp as a tac.

What if LG gets injured?…..the roof caves in, that’s what!

    Who’s fault will that be?

It will be PL’s….but, not because he doesen’t spend enough money…he does…it’s just that, since MO’N left Celtic in 2005…the quality in the dug out has also been downsized with a conveyor belt of subservient ‘puppet-managers’ who, dont have the final say on strikers brought in. That wont change because of the level of influence that the, executive-level-operatives at Celtic Park have over the playing side. It almost seems that, to be a hero Celtic manager who will garner ‘legendary-status’….he must be a rebel / maverick sort like Mr Stein, Mr O’Neill, Mr Jansen, who achieved their success in ‘spite’ of their superiors…must be something in the Celtic DNA that insists that – for you to be a rubber-stamped-Celt – you must be prepared to rebel / rage against the machine. I know that the nitpickers will be falling over themselves to come on and tell me that….puppet-manager-extraordinaire-WGS was a more successful manager than MO’N…well I would contest that with the angle that, MO’N was in direct opposition to the highest ever spending Rangers team in history when he, brought in 2 players for £6 million and one at, £5 million in his 1st season….Rangers had a squad that cost in excess of what?…£100 million?….where as, wee puppet-WGS was competing v’s a downsizing Rangers….till the return of Walter and, financial harri-carri:)

Anyway….Balde, Bangura, Pukki, Lassad, Miku, Freddie, Scepovic etc….were badly managed by the, downsized quality of managers in the dugout…at the minute…my conclusion….Ronny hisny got it…Johnny Collins has the ballsy-six-pack-in-yer-face-dont-fluck-wi-us-coz-we’re-CELTIC-attitude that I like….and, he’s a horses for courses-type….just like the best that there’s ever been…Mr Stein….imho.

So, give Johnny Collins the keys to the dugout…give Jeanette Findlay the keys to the CLUB…hurry up and get the standing area built, then you’ll not need to worry about empty seats.

Jeanette Findlay is the female – Jeremy Corbyn…a dream leader of our club…imho.

Nobody will fluk with us if JF was in control…what’s not to like?

Oh, on conclusion….Roy Keane would have been a great Celtic manager imho….reason for saying so….coz he’s a kick-ass-rebel who’d put a Sellic team on the pitch who would be ‘scared’ of nobody…and, my rune-stones tell me that Celtic FC’s managerial dugout was RK’s destiny…..wonder what he saw to make him run away from Parkhead’s gates?

Johnny Collins would be a tamer version but…he’d be cute enough and have the stuff as mentioned above.

    Tri-Coloured-Ribbon…take care Hail Hail

Philbhoy and Olivia and family…my family are praying for you all God Bless.
