I’m older than Virgil van Dijk and I’ve seen more football scenarios than he has, so in this respect it is forgivable for him to be talking about Celtic going through the entire league programme undefeated, but Virgil was in the Celtic team who lost at home to Morton less than two months ago, so he really should know the only place to do your talking is on the football field.
Celtic have a rather important game on Tuesday, which the manager will quite rightly be preparing for, making tomorrow’s game against Aberdeen an open race. If Virgil’s (reported) mind-set is shared by many in the dressing room the 7/1 odds against Aberdeen look generous.
Better all-round if we knock any ‘undefeated all season’ talk on the head. It’s fine fare for fans but not for players.
Feeling gutted for the five Celtic fans who failed to get justice in Amsterdam yesterday. The rest of us can busy ourselves campaigning on their behalf but verdict will be a blow to the five and their families.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the current edition of CQN Magazine, not that I want to divert you away, but… The Football Pink magazine is well worth a read. We don’t get to read about Hugo Meisl and the Winderteam enough. Hugo’s in the current issue, along with an excellent article on The history of Irish centre backs, the player loan system, and an article on Gunter Netzer, the midfield general who brought West German football into the modern era.

Not sure if anyone heard talksport today, but when they mentioned the game v Aberdeen, they relayed a fact about the 1984 SC Final between the teams that I’d never noticed nor heard mentioned until today. Now obviously a quick google will tell you the answer, so just for fun, if I tell you that the fact was , that from both squads that day, including the subs and coaches, there was only 1 non Scot involved. Quite surprising really. As I say, without googling, who was it?
Bonner would be my guess.

Well done bud, yeah Packy.

It’s only the internet, I’m sorry I said ‘made up bit’ if it puts me in Celtic Clique News.
I don’t think any Celtic fans tried to pull a policeman of his horse.
Sometimes you tend to get a wee bit carried away with your keyboard.
Hail Hail
KevJungle:
Sorry mate, I just reread your earlier post at 17:18 and mate, that is not what happened.
Why you would wish to post differently beats me.
You were not even close to the true events.
Sorry mate… you are not for real.

Aye, well maybe it was just the fans that ah went tae the fitba wi that wurny cowards ?
That statement by Ogilvie could have been written by Bain for Traynor.
Anyone waiting for the definitive response from the SFA in regards to newco/oldco need look no further than their President and former Rangers Director’s ‘statement’ telling Peter Lawell off for telling a joke, whilst embedding the Rangers FC and ‘biggest club in the country’ gash. Whilst Scottish football faces challenges on ‘many fronts’
The more i see of them, the more my heart sinks.
Game’s fixed.
Ogilvie ffs…
Campbell Ogilvie, Scottish FA President: “This
week, the Scottish FA’s Compliance Officer
has reviewed comments made by the Celtic
Chief Executive, Peter Lawwell, at the club’s
Annual General Meeting, after receiving an
official letter of complaint from Rangers
Football Club.
“The Compliance Officer has informed both
clubs that there is no actionable breach of the
rules. None the less, I am compelled to convey
my disappointment that we find ourselves in
this position, as a result of an apparent
erosion of mutual respect between two of our
oldest rivals.
“At a time when Scottish football faces
challenges on many fronts, it is incumbent on
our biggest clubs to set the highest
standards. In this regard both the comments
made, and the subsequent time, effort and
resource imposed on our Compliance Officer
to deal with the complaint, were wholly
unnecessary.”
Two of our oldest rivals?
They are only a year old..

He couldn’t just stop after the opening sentence. Which is what he should have done. He had to ingratiate himself in some way to the bankrupts.

Kevjungle talking decisive pash? awe_naw… ;)
Thought Kojo only posted just before, during and after a game.
That’ll be Lawwell at the back of the bus again ?
What to do ?

EBT Ogilvie suggesting that Sevco are an old rival?
Suggests the SFA have decided that there is continuity.
Time for Peter Lawwell to walk the walk.
KevJungle:
You never answered a single one of my questions… correctly. So either you were not there or your mind is fried.
Are you a hun?
Well I hope your not because I really can’t belive in life such a life could be so wasted.
But then I do not know the mentality of the hun.
You were not there at Janefield St: that is so painfully obvious. You did not even have the savvy to goggle map the ground, now okay that is a hard one to get your nut around; however, everything you have posted regards the events leads me to believe you are in fact a ‘hun’ or possibly, possibly mind you, an obtusedeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee escapeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Whichever, you see and have yourself a really, really, nice day.
FOLLOWING the court proceedings yesterday
(Thursday) in Amsterdam, the club has issued
the following statement.
‘Clearly we are fully aware of events yesterday
in Amsterdam. Celtic has always said it does
not condone any form of violent or offensive
behaviour. If any person connected to Celtic
FC is identified as being involved in such
behaviour, then clearly we would always take
the appropriate action.
However, it is very important that the legal
process is allowed to run its course and
therefore we cannot make any further comment
on these specific cases until any appeals have
been heard and this process is complete.
As we have also stressed before, it is very
clear that events in Amsterdam have raised a
number of questions. Separately, therefore, the
Club can confirm that it is continuing to work
on behalf of our supporters with our Dutch
legal representative in relation to supporters’
complaints.
We have received numerous written
complaints from fans regarding their
treatment in Amsterdam and the lawyer we
have engaged is currently reviewing these in
order to assess whether they can be taken
further through the legal system in Holland.
We believe these to be credible complaints,
with substance and therefore deserve further
investigation.
We would like to re-iterate that the Club is
proud of the fantastic reputation which our
supporters have earned. It is a reputation
which we cherish and we will do all we can to
ensure that this is protected.’
So where has Ogilvie been while ahem “one of the 2 biggest clubs” has been making an arse of themselves since they became a new club. Just canny help himself can he
67Heaven … I am Neil Lennon, supporting WEE OSCAR..!!.. Ibrox belongs to the creditors
Celtic supporters can accomplish anything they put their minds too, even a toughie like this……..????
