CAMERON CARTER-VICKERS is a shock omission from the Celtic team to face Livingston in the Scottish Cup quarter-final at Parkhead this afternoon.

The centre-back, who has been jinxed with muscular problems since the start of the season, is not even involved in Brendan Rodgers’ match day squad and joins Callum McGregor on the sidelines.

Keeper Joe Hart takes over as skipper while Stephen Welsh replaces the USA World Cup Finals defender in the heart of the rearguard.

German winger Nicolas Kuhn comes in for the suspended Yang Hyun-jun.

TEAM: Hart; Johnston, Welsh, Scales, Taylor; Iwata, O’Riley, Bernardo; Kuhn, Idah, Maeda. Subs: Bain, Lagerbielke, Kyogo, Holm, Oh, Vata, Kelly, Forrest and Ralston.

Earlier today, we asked how much you could remember about past connections with Livi in CQN’s fun five-minute quiz to test your football knowledge.

Now we repeat the questions and provide the answers.

HAIL, HAIL…Matt O’Riley congratulates Reo Hatate after the Japanese ace’s successful penalty-kick at Livingston. (See Question 1).

QUESTIONS:

1: Celtic have contrived to miss six penalty-kicks in this campaign, but can you name the player who converted his award in the 3-0 win at Livi in September?

2: Who scored the Hoops’ other goals that afternoon?

3: Which Celtic star was red-carded by referee John Beaton in the same match?

4: Kyogo Furuhashi netted the opening strike in the champions’ 2-0 win over David Martindale’s side at Parkhead in December. Who scored a rare goal for the second?

5: Which Celtic player who was involved in the game is no longer at the club?

ANSWERS:

1: Reo Hatate.

2: Matt O’Riley and Daizen Maeda.

3: Joe Hart.

Well done if you got five out of five. Go to the top of the class!
